estrogen rebound

Hey guys,

I took a PH an otc ai and then i took nolva. for nolva I took 40/40 and then 2 days of 20 mgs and i quit cold turkey because my doc told me to. Well im almost positive I had estrogen rebound. My e2 levels were 48.6 17 days after i was off the nolva and then 46.3 a month after ive been off the tamox. My sex drive and erections were shot while on nolva. my erection strength steadily came back and it is probably 85% back to normal. and my sex drive is coming back but SLOWLY. I went to my endo and shes a total idiot so i dont know if i should trust her or not. She literally acts like I dont even matter. She told me just to wait it out and let my estrogen go back down on its own. but at this rate my estrogen levels seem like it will take atleast 6 more months to be back down to normal. does this sound like estrogen rebound to you guys? should i take a low dose of an AI or maybe some i3c or dim or will that only be a temporary fix?

DIM won't help you out, I would just leave it alone for 6 months and see what happens.

Where do you find evidence for "estrogen rebound?" This sounds like "back filling," "24-hour urine test for TRT," "hCG diet," "pregnenolone and DHEA in TRT," . . . .

well i have high e2 and total estrogens after nolva and its going down very slowly. I dont know what to do other than wait or take an AI but im afraid ill get even worse rebound if i take too much. and what are you talking about back filling?

Regarding the Doc. I believe he is just saying there is not really a significant impact from whatever "rebound" or things like that you may have heard.

Odds are your endo is a jackass, and probably incompetent for TRT. They just dont do tweeking.

FInally, the real red flag I see is that you state you took an OTC AI?? There are many forms of that crap that are pretty nasty and incideous. More than likely you took some kind of "Suicide Inhibitor". Find out what you took and then do some reading. And the problem yould be that there is no telling what kind of bastard hybrid crap was in the bottle, which makes it all the worse. So many versions of "testosterone booster/estrogen reducer" crap our there. Much of it is really bad unfortunately. So you are best to ride it out with nothing for now till you figure out what you took, and what it did.....

ok heres my main question. if my nuts are still producing a good amount of test and are functioning properly and my libido and erectile issues are improving, with time I will be back to normal right? im almost positive i dont have problems with low test. no symptoms of it and still walk around feeling like the alpha male . and my workouts are still really intense and i get good pumps. plus ive been going up on all my lifts steadily. i think honestly its just this damn estrogen. I dont have any other symptoms of high estrogen exept libido loss and weakened erections(which both are improving a lot) I think i just messed with my hormones so much that its gonna take a while for them to all reach homeostasis. tell me if im wrong

Let yout body regulate on its own you already got it messed up by screwing around with PH in the first place. I tihnk you would have learned your lesson by now.

ok i have learned my lesson i just didnt know if letting it do it on its own was the best way. do you think everything will go back to normal?
