Update: Finally had an appointment with the urologist. Had a penile doppler and everything seemed normal according to the doc. The labs that were done from the last visit are pretty much in line with previous labs: Low Normal TT (357 ng/dl),
free t (12.3 pg/mL),
fsh (3.4mIu/mL),
LH(6.1 mIU/mL),
shbg(26.6 nmol/L).
Surprisingly, my 17-Beta Estradiol actually decreased to 34 pg/mL.
So my ed is almost certainly a hormonal issue. The doctor is not ready to put me on trt, and has put me on a 6 week trial of Anastrozole (dosage of 1mg/day), after which I go back for labs. Now from everything I've read that dosage is frickin' insane for treating high estradiol, so I'm gonna go against doctors orders and split the pill in half. Any thoughts?
I do think he's a pretty good doctor (he's actually quite popular in the Northeast and considered an expert on male fertility and erectile dysfunction), but I think I might need to see an endocrinologist at this point. I tried to ask him about the dosage, and he told me to not believe stuff I read on the internet . Anyway, I'm gonna see how this works out I'm optimistic.

if ur doc doesnt specialize in bioidentical hormines then dont ask him about cortisol. he wont have a clue. you need a 24 hour saliva cortisol test. zrt labs has one. and when u have your thyroid checked get free t3 and reverse t3. tsh and t4 levels wont tell you crap!
