here's what i know
i had an mri done: my pituitary is normal
my thyroid is normal (i'm on 100mcg of synthroid per day)
my prolactin levels are normal.
my cholesterol is a little high but she said this is because of my low T level.
my glucose is normal.
my cortisol is normal.
my estrogen is normal.
my adrenals are normal.
my liver is normal.
my red/ white blood cells are normal.
other than low T, i am a very healthy boy. i eat a good diet (no junk food) and lots of veggies and protein. believe me if it was my diet i would be the first to admit it. i've been looking for an answer to this problem for years.
i trust my doctor to help me out. she is good and i have total confidence in her to help me thru this. right now i am not looking for another doctor. right now she has me on double
androgel. i was taking two packs a day now i am taking 4. in two weeks i will have more blood
test done to see if the higher dosage is helping. if not she might give me Testem which has a better absorption rate. if that doesn't work, she will suggest injections. she wants my level to be around 650-800.
looking back on my life i can see where low
testosterone has been a hidden symptom to many things.
i feel i'm in good hands at the moment and don't have money to go to another doctor. maybe in the future - but right now i have to trust where i am and what i have to work with.
thanks,
m
