You have to accept the fact you will lose some degree of strength, the guys who yo-yo around because they cannot deal with a strength loss never usually get far with getting into very low bf%. Look at the professional guys, every single one of those guys is weaker than water on contest day. Have you ever seen their videos when they get within a few wks of a competition? They are benching with 135 lbs, thats right!! A 275 lb guy using 135 on the bench
