ps. i know its not the smartest thing if i am trying to lose fat....but i still drink Nlarge after i workout because it seems to be a great post workout drink. lots of protein, carbs, simple carbs. it does have 600 cals tho which is a negative, but even so isnt it good to drink that stuff post workout? | I use NLarge II post workout too. I have for over 3 years. The Vanilla tastes best but it don't mix well so I mix the choc 50/50 with the van. Post workout is the optimal time to take in protien and glutamine and creatine. Many experts agree that if you consume simple sugars WITH the prot/glut/creat, this will create an insulin spike that will help to shuttle all those things to your depleted muscles aiding in recovery and muscle building. I would suggest that you consume 1-2 scoops of NLarge, 5-10 G creatine, 5-10G glutamine and 30-40G protien post workout. This depends somewhat on your current weight and your goal but in general, is a good start.
As far as cutting up goes, the food choices look good but I would need to know how much protien, carbs and fat you used to eat before this new diet. And how much of those do you eat now. And Beef is my favorite food group. Bulking and cutting.
