I would like to know what those of you who support trump will do when he loses the election?

Our nation’s capital has been locked down and turned into an authoritative police state with an overwhelming armed military presence, and our corporate media isn’t the least bit curious.

Trump said "It's not me they are after, it's you. I am just in their way."
I'm glad all you commie sympathizer China Joe supporters got what you wanted.
You'll soon rue the day. Americans are such clueless stupid bastards.(Some of them.)

Consider this:
Biden and Harris broadcasted an inauguration special with Tom Hanks and many well known actors, actresses, singers, etc. on Youtube. There were 24,000 viewers.
Donald Trump gave a brief mid-day speech near the newly constructed border wall in Alamo Texas a few days ago. Live viewers on Youtube: Over 800,000.

That's a classic appeal to popularity.

More people live in California than in any other state. Therefore California is the best state to live in

See how that doesn't work as an argument?

I’m confused then. Wasn’t the election supposed to be an appeal to popularity?

If people actually cared about Biden like the voting is supposed to reflect, surely MORE people would tune in. The man got the most votes ever! And all Trump did was talk about the border wall.

An appeal to popularity is a logical fallacy that attempts to argue that a large amount of something makes an argument correct. For example: the Dallas Cowboys have the largest fan base in the NFL, therefore they're the best team in the NFL. That's a fallacy because Dallas is objectively terrible according to most metrics.

How many of those aforementioned viewers do you suppose tuned in purely to watch the trainwreck unfold?

Voting is purely a numbers game. There's often times no logic behind it at all. People vote for all manner of reasons and logic is seldom included amongst them. More votes means that you win the election, not that your positions are logically sound.

You've hit the nail on the head. Speaking of sound policy, Biden not even in yet and here we go. Our border will be a joke again. Fantastic start Guatemalan military clears U.S.-bound migrant caravan from road

I don’t understand why anyone believes this is going to be good for our country / our kids / and future generations to come , a vote more so needs to be determined with the future generations in mind rather then a me myself and I vote . And I honestly just can’t see anything good coming from these policies , oh besides a whack ass stimulus check ( sarcasm)

The only thing that will change the direction of our country would honestly be a big reset in Congress , a lot of people need to be knocked off and gone and honestly term limits would balance us out better and be fair to keep things going better for both sides then a 45 year run in congress where there only motivation is to stay in congress instead of voting for things that would benefit our country . They vote on making shady deals behind scenes to help out their careers . Kevin spacey on show house of cards is a great inside look on how things really go . Deals deals deals

I mean I would say helping to invest in education and higher education, give our teachers and educators the pay and benefits they deserve as they literally create the next generation and future of America. He wants to invest in infrastructure, provide tax cuts for the middle and lower class, improve access to healthcare, provide better housing for Americans. He also wants to improve support for our Veterans--a group of people which Trump has repeatedly insulted and cut benefits for (here's a nice exhaustive list). He wants to implement some tax reform which will actually funnel money back into the middle, upper-middle, and lower class Americans that need it, as opposed to Trump's policies which 99% of his tax cuts went to the top 1% and corporations.

Look, I am NOT saying Biden is going to magically fix everything. I just wish republicans would give him a fucking chance. We had Obama, who wasn't perfect either and did make a lot of mistakes, but he did his best and he really got America back onto the right track after the Great Recession. Then we had Trump, who came in and despite the vast majority of working American's really not having their lives get any better, they went nuts for him because they liked his rallies and the things he said (even though they were often outright lies or he never actually backed them up with action).

Give Biden a chance, he has some really, really excellent policies outlined in his campaign. Policies that have the potential to actually make America great again--because Trump definitely did NOT do that. Biden's policies are looking towards the future, setting America and the American People up for long term success. Creating better opportunity, lowering the wealth gap so that people our middle and lower class people can stop getting squeezed to death by debt and financial stress.

This sums it all up right here, taken from the Biden campaign site:
  • Trump wants to give the 10 richest billionaires – who have made a total of $196 billion this year amid the COVID-19 crisis – a combined $17.2 billion tax cut.
  • Trump wants to give the 50 richest billionaires – who have made $312 billion during the COVID-19 crisis – a combined $27.5 billion tax cut.
  • Trump wants to give the 100 richest billionaires – who have made $334 billion during the COVID-19 crisis, a combined $29 billion tax cut.
Can you please tell me how that is going to benefit real American People like you and me? You can't, because it won't. Time and time again those billionaires have proven by action that they will simply hoard that wealth in their investment assets and bank accounts (or maybe splurge on a few luxury goods that still put minimal money back into the system), slowing the velocity of money, putting a huge drag on the American economy, and putting us at a huge disadvantage on the global scale. Instead, Biden wants to increase taxes for those people, decrease taxes for you and me, and then use that money to INVEST in America. INVEST in infrastructure, education, healthcare. I don't understand how anybody can think that is a bad idea?

We have tried GOP economics during Bush and during Trump and both times the economy got worse and the livelihood and opportunity for the vast majority of working Americans got worse. Obama was 8 years of gridlock due to GOP reps being impossible to work with, so you really can't point to those years and say "look, liberal policies don't work." Well, now we actually have the chance to try them out. If things don't get better, then I will have been proved wrong 4 years from now. However, I truly think they will get better--for everyone.

We have tried during Trump and it worked, I like GOP economics, not the party. Our economy was humming until China put a halt to it.

Give Biden a chance? Biden is a shell of himself and already started the divisive rhetoric. He won't last 2 years before he disappears into dementia.

The policies Ds are pushing have always failed. Never worked. Only policy I agree with is drug legalization. Their goal isn't to make America the best it can be, but to stay in power by creating a permanent dependent class. Now we will rejoin the Globalists which only have picking our pockets in mind.

Very sad.

I think Biden has had his chance at helping this country. He’s been in politics since the wheel was invented. He is what is wrong with this country. Not what is going to fix it.

Really the only thing that Biden has going for him is that he isn't Trump. He's yet another career politician who embodies everything that's wrong with politics.

It's pretty remarkable, when you really think about it, that Trump's personality is so unpalatable and reprehensible that people came out in record numbers to vote for Biden. How big of a scumbag do you have to be to make Hair-sniffer Joe look like a viable alternative?

Is it Trumps personality or voter ignorance? People that are successful at leading are rarely well liked.

Haha, I don't think that is what is happening there lol. Not sure where you got that quote, but without some data to back it up I don't think it is true. I can think of a good number of great leaders that were also very well liked. I can think of a lot of really shitty leaders who were largely hated by their People :)

Trump barely even did his job when he was president. He basically just permanently campaigned and created a hype machine to make his base stay riled up. He did a really good job at that. Meanwhile, he implemented policy after policy that really damages America and the American people (except for the few ultra-wealthy such as himself and his friends/peers up on cloud 9).

Liberals everywhere couldn't believe it when he got elected in 2016. Once again he lost the popular vote, but scraped by via an electoral college win. But the libs didn't go try to overthrow the fucking government because of it! They didn't plant bombs around DC because of it!! Yes, the majority of people there were wandering around aimlessly like sightseers, but that does not detract from the fact that a good number of them had violence on their minds.

Trump lost the popular vote last time, is it really so crazy to think that he would lose the popular vote again in 2020, but just also lose the electoral college this time too? All Trump did was say for months on end, "If I don't win, they cheated," and he said it so many times his base started to believe him simply due to the repetition. Well, that's not how it works in real life. That is a bullshit statement and it is simply false. He did a bad job as president and then he lost the election fair and square, despite significant efforts to suppress liberal and urban voters across the country. Honestly, the GOP played dirtier than the dems did (as usual). Voter suppression, all that bullshit with the mail sorting machines, trying to have legitimate ballots thrown out.

But yes, on top of being a terrible leader (really not a leader at all, just an asshole who managed to get in charge) trump's personality is also deplorable. There are currently 26 women who have sexual assault allegations against him. Trump literally stole money from his campaign donors (wouldn't be the first time he did that too, did you see he just pardoned Steve Bannon?). He has an ego more fragile than a baby. All that on top of really not ever actually doing the job he was supposed to do as president. It's no wonder he lost the election. He is a cheating, dirty, lying, selfish piece of human garbage.

That's what happens when extremist domestic terrorists plant bombs around DC, man. What did you expect? "We found several bombs, and a truck full of guns and boms, but we don't think it's any cause for concern." If there was any thought that the people who did it were black or arab conservatives everywhere would be FREAKING OUT about how they need to bring in the army to lock the nation down. Instead it is a bunch of WHITE domestic terrorists instead and now everyone things the national guard is overreacting. Nah, it doesn't work like that. A bomb is a bomb, and it was put there by an extremist who is trying to overthrow the legitimately elected government. It is sad, all these extremists see themselves as heros, when really all they're doing is making russia really really happy as our country eats itself alive from the inside due to their extremist, racist, sexist tendencies. I've never seen a group of people who are so set on inciting violence, so eager to hurt and kill innocent people simply because of their skin color or political alignment. It is fucking bonkers man. These people need to take a step back and come back to reality, man.

Wrong, there was a one hour special on youtube. I might have got a name wrong. I don't follow actors. Then there was another later. I didn't watch either one.

Did you see the likes vs dislikes on youtube's white house site coverage of the inauguration. It was so lopsided against Biden that it was laughable.
