Simply Shredding!

Went to bed at 216.8lbs, woke up at 214.8lbs. Not much changed. Except I drank less water yesterday than I did Monday.

I'm not in as much pain as I thought I'd be. Lower back and legs are still very sore all around. Will definitely be utilizing some EAA's while doing morning cardio, and won't neglect foam rolling or stretching. No lifting today.

Looking flat and there's not much noticeable difference in body composition from yesterday.

I feel slightly better on .5mg adex, and will continue with this dose moving forward.

Right now, I'm feeling like this first month will be used to establish a routine and baseline for my metabolism, diet, and training. I don't expect to see a 4-5lb drop in weight/fat. We'll see how the next 2 weeks go.

It's questionable whether I'm building any muscle, though my weight isn't really changing... Something to think about at least.

Have a good morning all.

Cardio was painful, mainly because I cycle and it took nearly the entire 30 minutes until my legs numbed out. Foam rolled and stretched thoroughly before riding.

Ate breakfast early, I was really hungry. Did 2 eggs instead of 3, added 1Oz of mozzarella, skipped the oats, and added 1tbsp cod liver oil. The eggs, in my opinion, taste much better with the cheese added.

I've been exhausted today. Slept a lot, glad it's an off day, my body needed it.

Since I'm resting today, meal 2 was my only real carb meal. So for meal 3, I utilized a shake with zero sugar lemonade and natural peanut butter, which tasted surprisingly decent with unflavored whey. The lemonade has something like 8g of carbs and same with the peanut butter. This reduction in carbs drops my calories about 200 for the day.

So, I've been peeing more than usual today. Not worried about it, as I don't feel any pain anywhere and it looks normal. It did occur to me, however, that it might be because I increased my AI dose yesterday from .25mg to .5mg.

I decided to weigh myself right before eating meal 3, after my nap, and sure enough I was 214.1lb, .7lbs lighter than when I woke up! That's with 2 meals already in me. I think the higher dose AI has caused me to shed some water weight, which I won't complain about.

Shake was pretty satiating, I can't remember the last time I ate peanut butter.

Last meal, number 5. Added some spicy mustard tonight. Got my appetite back, so eating a little earlier.

I went back to the gym to foam roll and stretch because my legs and back are very tight. I also walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes to get blood flowing. Feeling refreshed, and yet I can tell my body still needs rest.

Had another perfect day of eating, which feels good. I was told my face looks a little leaner and I definitely feel like my legs have grown a little. Lower bod is incredibly sore.

Going to bed weighing 214.1lbs. Arms tomorrow. Goodnight!

Before bed - 214.1lb, woke up - 213.6lb. Weights dropping. I looked a little leaner in the mirror last night. Will see how I look and feel as the day goes on.

Feeling gnawing hunger pangs this morning. I've got an appetite. I'm sleepy. Will definitely be utilizing a nap today.

Foam roll/stretch then cardio first thing, will be performed on treadmill instead of usual cycling. This is to save my legs, which are very sore. I'll extend cardio from 30-40 minutes.

2 changes.

First, I'll be carb loading tomorrow, and every Friday, instead of Saturdays from now on. This is because Sunday is an off day, so I don't want to load up, then sit around and do nothing.

Second, I'm going to be adding in chest on arm day, which will be focused on pump/volume. I feel like I'd benefit from 2 chest days instead of 1. We'll see how it goes.

Side note, the small bacterial infection I've had in my skin (mainly on arms/triceps and upper traps) has improved dramatically. I've had a little acne there for the past 6 months, which I think is due to, in part, starting TRT and not having my AI dialed in (and who knows why else).

It's a common area to get acne and I've had it in the past, in my 20's. I've been taking doxycycline for a little more than 2 weeks, and will probably continue taking it until I'm 100% clear. I don't think I'll need it for a full 12 weeks though. I'm feeling good about this, and it's exciting and relieving to see improvements in my skin.

Everything else is the same. I'll be revising my diet again for weeks 12-11, and spending today cooking for the next 3-4 days. Have a good morning! Thanks for reading.

Felt and looked swollen in the gym today. Hit chest heavy and hard, flat bench and dumbbell fly's, finished with peck deck. Arms got burned with straight barbell curls and machine preachers, triceps with flat bar pushdowns.

I was out of gas by the time I got to arms. Really need their own day, but for now I'll keep hitting chest as a priority during arm day. Felt like I connected well with the muscles, hit a cluster set at the end of bench, and repped out 20-30s on pushdowns. Had painful pumps in biceps.

Noticed that during heavy dumbbell flys my grip and forearms got worked a lot, so that was a good combo leading into arms.

PWO Shake, easily the most enjoyable meal of the day. 100% on point today eating. Feeling good.

I think the rest day yesterday really helped me with feeling full and strong today, regardless of lower carb intake, and the added fats may have helped with filling me out as well.

Hitting it hard 100% for 2 weeks, then third week I'll go about 80-85% to recoup. Then back at it hard again.

No cheat meals, refeeds on Friday every week. Doing 350-500g clean carbs until the next phase of dieting (May), then refeeds will be 250-400g, etc.

What's keeping you from training?
Actually moving from my current apartment to a new one, so I'm a little stressed and with all the things that I have to take care I don't know when I can train properly. Oh and gyms are still closed here, but I can train in one if I want to.
