So, maybe some of you know accutane is the "best" acne treatment on the market. Supposed to be permanent. I went through 5 months of accutane BEFORE I stated aas. Fast forward about a year and a half now my acne is back. I have no doubt it has to do with the aas. I just started my next round of accutane, 5 months again, first 3 months I have to get my blood checked (cholesterol, white blood cell, and hepatic function). Is it safe to say I shouldn't use winstrol on my next cycle? I'm glad my cholesterol was fine even after aas use!

Is it safe? No. You could stroke out, or grow a flaccid penis out your forehead.
Me, personally, I wouldn't take an oral along side accutane. I also would stay away from AAS that makes me break out. But to each their own. Just opinions.

I guess I should just take a low dose of test so I remain natty! Thanks for the input, I'll let my winny sit on the sidelines for now. I'll find some other time to snort it

You need to run accutane for longer. Go low dose but for very long time like 10+ months. Almost no sides and you can cycle AAS on it. Just avoid orals or tren.

I ran 80mg accutane while on 500mg test e/w + 50mg winny ed with no problems. However, I did drop the winny 2 weeks in.

It is doctor prescribed... my first run wasn't horrible. I was still swimming at the time, so I had extra dryness but a.little bit of lotion on the dick fixed that right up.

80mg?! That's like double the max dosage, unless you weigh 400lbs... or my doctor is stupid.

I do weigh 400lb .. of muscle. On a srs note, i'm fairly certain that's a pretty normal prescribed dose. I only had moderate acne as well. Tbh I wish I learned about this stuff and took it sooner, fuck all those acne creams they don't do shit.

Well, about a week ago when I was speaking to my doctor about my dosgae I asked if a higher dosgae would be better. (I'm just shy of 200 right now) and a max safe dosage was 40 mg a day. Totally agree on acne creams, not worth the money. Although without insurance the stuff is 1,000 a box!

Yea I was started at 40mg ed but derma told me I can raise it to 80mg if I wanted. Yea the cost of anything medical related is absurd, but Canadian health insurance :D. Was paying less than $50 per 3 month supply of tane

I was paying 15$ a month with insurance through employer. So it was definitely manageable and affordable

0.5-1mg/kg is the usual dose by the book. Lately most derma that are up to date prescrive 20mg/day for longer period.

Max 40mg but studies have proved no benefit in doing 40mg compared to 20.

What's important is the total cumulative dose of 120mg/kg

So if you weight 85kg you should invest a total of 10.200mg of accutane more or less. You can do it in 5 months at very high dosage, you can take 9 months at medium dosage or almost 2 years at very low dosage.

Difference between high to low dosage are only side effect. I prefer to have almost no side effect and take more time to fix the problem the risk Russian roulette with accutane using high dosage.

I'm not talking about liver problem, accutane have shit load of bad side on the skin. Eczema, complication of rosacea and other stuff.

80mg is NOT a standard dose of accutane. I've seen docs prescribe up to 60mg. Source- I work in a pharmacy.

Not sure but initially my doc said start with 40 and bump to 80 eod after a month take 80mg ed. He said he does this for majority of his patients who have tried plenty of acne creams with no results.

Honestly, I've only seen 80mg once or twice. Not saying it's not a dosage that can be effective, just that it's certainly on the high end. Did you have really bad cystic acne?

Only had mild acne, never cystic. When I bumped up from 40 to 80 I actually broke out a lot more for a month or two lol
