That's some old school Mike Metzer nonsense. The new research says more is better until you hit a wall. Now add drugs to the mix and hitting that wall takes longer. Look at power lifters, they lift heavy as possible but infrequently and are stronger but not HUGER.I don’t understand how you can grow to maximum potential without resting as much as possible and lifting as heavy as possible but infrequently.
