Should D-Ribose should be treated as if it were any other carb? If am trying to keep carbs down to 50 grams per day and I take 5 grams of D-Ribose with my breakfast, am I left with only 45 net carbs for the day? I see a lot of conflicting literature regarding D-ribose and keto. Some say that D-ribose lowers blood sugar, but raises insulin moderately and then I also hear it just seems to not increase pancreatic insulin, but it does increase overall insulin. (How is that even possible?) Thanks in advanced!
