  1. Does watching too much porn actually lower libido, anyone experience lower libido from porn? Like myself I've been unable to watch any vanilla porn, unless it’s girl on girl but really I only watch like super nasty porn that is now escalating into dark and nasty lol. I only watch porn when I wanna rub one out but still is it f’ing my libido. Like I was with a favorite escort and I couldn’t get it up for a 2nd, went fully soft inside (noticed this happening with girlfriends as well but escort friend was the last experience I had from a couple hours ago lol). Used to get hard as soon as I walked in the hotel room with a natty test of 240 but with a trt test of 700-1200 my libido isn’t as high. With that same natty 240 I could go 3 times in an hour and still be horny but now meh. I was also able to jerk off to mental images/memory or non porn pics. Is it the porn or is there some other hormone that is being suppressed by exogenous test that plays a role in libido?

Only way to know for sure is to stop watching porn. But yes, the affect is well documented.

Is Internet Pornography Causing Sexual Dysfunctions? A Review with Clinical Reports

    Abstract
Traditional factors that once explained men’s sexual difficulties appear insufficient to account for the sharp rise in erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, decreased sexual satisfaction, and diminished libido during partnered sex in men under 40. This review (1) considers data from multiple domains, e.g., clinical, biological (addiction/urology), psychological (sexual conditioning), sociological; and (2) presents a series of clinical reports, all with the aim of proposing a possible direction for future research of this phenomenon. Alterations to the brain's motivational system are explored as a possible etiology underlying pornography-related sexual dysfunctions. This review also considers evidence that Internet pornography’s unique properties (limitless novelty, potential for easy escalation to more extreme material, video format, etc.) may be potent enough to condition sexual arousal to aspects of Internet pornography use that do not readily transition to real-life partners, such that sex with desired partners may not register as meeting expectations and arousal declines. Clinical reports suggest that terminating Internet pornography use is sometimes sufficient to reverse negative effects, underscoring the need for extensive investigation using methodologies that have subjects remove the variable of Internet pornography use. In the interim, a simple diagnostic protocol for assessing patients with porn-induced sexual dysfunction is put forth.

  3. Makes sense, especially with the need to watch “harder” porn to rub one out, fuck it no more porn.

There was a funny joke on family guy where Peter goes to the doctor because he has erectile dysfunction. Louis asks the doctor if there's anything that can be done to make things better. The doctor says "did you think about getting a divorce, I've never seen this problem in a single man".

    It was funny.

But, like the study above says it has to do with the brains reward system, dopamine to be specific. Internet porn, and I emphasize internet porn because in the old days with magazines and vhs/DVD, you didnt have immediate access to countless women and fantasy. Your brain gets rewired to search for more exciting forms of internet porn, harder/darker shit. Your brain releases less and less dopamine, unless you keep finding novel stimulus . Couple that with masturbating with a death grip and you really become desensitized to normal stimulation that 1 woman could provide.

You have to rewire your brain and not watch internet porn and masturbate. If you can't stop doing it for a week you know it's a problem. But 90 days seems to be the number recommended for rewiring. Could be more could be less.

But I paraphrased, here's a link to where i learned about all this.

They talk about the Coolidge effect, and dopamine and all that in the website. As well as people's feedback...

But no porn doesn't lower your libido, per se. It just rewired your brain so you're not excited by 1 woman, but need countless women or various fantasy...

You ever wonder why it seems like every porn site has a tranny section? Eventually you'll keep seeking out novelty and who knows where that will lead you.

  7. Damn some of that sounds like what I have and some of it doesn’t, like the need for harder, more disgusting and shocking stuff to jerk off to, but not sure if I get anxiety, like I sometimes go a couple days without, but then again there are alcoholics that go a few days without drinking but will always come back and get drunk so this might be like that. I’ll give it a try, watched a video on that site, apparently even looking at Facebook pictures is out lol, I guess I won’t jerk off either. It’s funny the guy said you’ll know you’re recovered when you see a pretty girl and don’t think of giving her a facial or some other dirty shit, I suffer from this lol. Can’t hurt to try.

No porn would raise your libido. Too much porn lowers it. You get desensitized over time just like anything else. Moderation is the key to life.

Tranny site maybe bc some like trannyism rather than become one.

I mean I’ve like pepperoni pizza just the same as yesterday today and tomorrow, but I doubt I’ll ever eat pepperoni sausage as part of a meal.

  13. What I’ve read on that site makes sense but the no looking at hot girls on Facebook does sound extreme.

  14. Perhaps if you ate pepperoni pizza multiple times per week that sausage pizza might start calling on you ;), or maybe just some other weird additions like pepperoni apricot pizza lol

To me REAL problem with porn isnt the shit of yourbrainonporn.Evolutionism is present after every video like a new partner BALONEY!

Or in another sense, sexualreboot site is more pragmatic:

E2 decrease in a no healthy way with porn so they tell u take some hcg to help and stop watching itself to avoid the depominergic stimuli.

But those are implications not the root. The root is avoid the bipolithical problem of the body.Or if you prefer the mindfulnes problem of the body.In short sexual therapist usually tells you jerk off in a nice enviorement <feeling the cum & what happens in your body>.For someone this is Tantra.Im very skeptical in this topic,to me is just corporal consciusness.

  16. Kinda makes sense, I mean if you have to watch this crazy hardcore stuff just to jack off how is a normal girl supposed to compete? I mean a couple weeks ago I couldn’t even get fully hard with viagra with a girl but watching some nasty porn got me rock hard. Yea I think it’s a good idea to avoid porn for awhile.

I don't know exactly what you're saying. But the problem isn't masturbating, it's specifically masturbating to internet porn.

Masturbation in itself isn't bad for you.

I'll add that not everyone that watches porn and masturbates becomes addicted. Just like not everyone who goes to a casino and gambles becomes addicted or eats a pizza and becomes obese.

But masturbation (sex) and eating are intrinsically tied to survival, in our brains at least. So more people are susceptible to becoming addicted to them. For e.g. there is more obese/overweight people out there then drug addicts.

  19. Yea I definitely believe one can become dependent on porn to jack it and become desensitized/disinterested in regular sex. Eg I dosed off earlier and had a vivid & semi lucid dream I was making out with a dirty blonde hottie and didn’t even have a boner when I woke up lol. I seem to have a lot of the symptoms on that site, just not as extreme so hopefully I can correct this within short order by avoiding that garbage. That website was definitely an eye opener.

How old am I? Why do you want to know? I've was around when porn was something you bought on super 8 film in Mexico and smuggled back to the US.
