First Cycle: Start with TRT or Jump into Blast? (23M)

But my test is so low man
I benched 200kg with my test in the gutter. Natty.

If you at some point stop making progress, ie stop growing.. and if you are genuinely eating clean, doing cardio and getting enough sleep (not partying and drinking), get your test tested again and if it’s truly low, get a prescription and do it correctly. Hopping on black market test for self prescribed TRT is not a smart idea.

Yes. I’m sure you did.

This is very much doable without AAS. I was benching 350lb for sets of 6-8 without ever taking any drugs in my 30s and I was not a big guy nor focused on body building or anything at the time. Id just been at it, casually, for a long time.

My brother, a giant 6-4 260 dude was easily doing the same with 400 in his mid 20s. I also have a 5-6 175lb friend who was near 40 at the time, who regularly out benched me.

None of us even knew how to get AAS or peptides back then. Its very much doable.

Extraordinary genetics. 35 years+ in gyms proves this out. Congrats.

350 / 400 for sets of 6 to 8 is remarkable with no drugs.

I wish that were true... For my efforts, both my shoulders are now messed up and no doctor or PT helped for over a decade... So now I can barely work with 225 on the bench (lol). My older friend developed cramps in the chest. He can still power lift but he has to warm up for like 20 minutes. My brother is still good. Probably because he is still mid to late 30s. Did tear up his legs though.

For some irony, I used to work out to look good. But I never looked anything like a strength guy or body builder. I was around 200lbs but not cut at all aside from arms I guess. Fast forward, I did only one cycle of T early this year and im now the same weight as before, and I look 10x better than I did in my 30s despite being weak as fuck... I actually have abs (I never knew) and quads gained like 8 inches in just 3 months (granted those never lost strength) and I have veins all over. Go figure.

Especially these days it’s pretty common among powerlifters!

I will say I was not training casually, I was very focused on powerlifting for about 7 years before I hit 200kg. I weighed about 115kg at the time as well, fat and unfit but pretty strong.

Interestingly I actually didn’t manage to improve my bench after I started using gear either, I kept on getting injured.

Almost anyone who's in this long enough and crazy enough ends up with some serious joint issues. But you can say you did it! You were strong as hell. Keep going. What other option do we have?

Yeah, I should have probably put some normalized weight requirements on all that but what's the point. Anyone with waist circumference to height ratio less than 0.5 doing sets of 6 to 8 with 405 is genetic elite (drugs or no drugs).

Craziest stuff I ever witnessed....

1. Guy at local Y doing strict 405 lb BP at 135 lb.
2. James Henderson doing 700 lb BP in tank top. Dude was a truck.

Yes that has been my experience as well. So far, im not "stronger" with peptides and aas but I finally recovered from my injuries while using them. Incidental perhaps? I dont know. Ive been hurt for a decade and nothing the doctors did worked until I did some BCP/TB on my own. That got me over the initial hump and then added some T to the mix to see if I cant grow muscles a little faster.

I think the T had a major impact on my physique. I think the guys here call it a body recomp and in my case, it seems the T triggered it. I was like you with the "pudge" and even though im the same weight as before, the "pudge" of my 30s seems to have melted away. Im not working out harder or anything. Frankly I think im a wuss at this point but muscles look more defined. I think with 2-3 more cycles, assuming similar results (which I doubt), I might actually pass as an over the hill body builder.
