HGH Diminishing IGF

I have been running Serostim Phamacy hgh for serveral years. I have taken Small breaks but I have noticed my igf1 values are garbage now. I used to run 2iu and have 350-400. I have experimented with doses all the way to 10iu/day. I was just running 2iu for a couple months did blood work. IGF-1 220. I have gone off it again. Any ideas why this is? longer break ? I am not using anything that decreases igf. I am on test / primo at the moment.

The increased IGF 1 levels from HGH eventually creates a negative feedback loop which inhibits your own HGH production. This does not happen in the beginning tho, meaning you can pump out some pretty strong IGF 1 numbers in the beginning, from both endogoneous and exogenous HGH signaling your liver to make IGF 1. This also corresponds perfectly with your 400 score off 2 iu, which is absurdly high.

Another answer could be HGH anti bodies but I think thats pretty rare

True. From the igf bloods I seen posted on the internet, it takes some time until the HP growth axis begins to shut down as a result of rhgh consumption.

It's highly unlikely that you were scoring igf levels of 400 from 2iu of exogenous HGH. your hp growth axis was still alive until it shut down. you're basically wasting your money by replacing the amount of GH your body was producing naturally.

I'm going to take a 4-week break. Then I'm going to do 4iu/ day and retest. What do you think?

sounds good. At least 4iu per day isn't counterproductive in your case. What benefits are you trying to get from HGH btw and what was your baseline level ?

My baseline most recently was 189. I was around 200-220 when I first started. But I'm 3 years older now. 38 I don't know how long before you this negative feedback. When I started for months I was over 330 which it shows for my age. I just thought it was odd I don't always do bloods with IGF because of added cost. That it has dropped off so much.

Depending on the amount of HGH you're taking, it can take days or months for your hp growth axis to shut down.
189 is a good number for your age. Maybe you should opt for peptides to boost your igf levels slightly instead of spending tons of cash on serostim.

pharma hgh is known to give poor numbers, paradoxically, both hgh serum and igf. irrc correctly there was someone running 6ius real humatrope from his doctor and his igf was like 200 after a few months on it. as long as your feeling better than if you dont take hgh i wouldnt worry abt it

You diet and hormone level can effect igf 1 greatly. Estrogen , insulin and androgens effects the conversion of HGh to igf1. If anyone of them is lacking your score will lower. Try modifying those factors and see. There are people that have run HGh for years with no problems. the entire “ HGh stops working is mostly nonsense. Read the insert with it. Does it say anywhere to cycle off? Does it say anywhere that it stops working for some reason?

Might be a dumb question, but is there a protocol to restart your pituitary after taking hGH for long periods of time? And can long time use have any permanent effects, like using AAS has on your testicles with no PCT does.

Since Gh is converted to IGF in the liver wouldn't the lower scores suggest the problem is with the liver and not the gh?

There was this doctor that said that these kids been on exogenous hgh for literally 2 years straight and upon stopping literally like within a week their hgh levels naturally returned to completely normal as if nothing ever happened.

No need for a protocol to restart.

I believe you have more short term use adverse effects than long term use effects, from running GH.

My IGF without GH is usually in the mid 100's, been running Serostim for a long time pretty much non stop at 4iu per day with periods of 6iu per day. The last 6 months I've been running it at 3iu per day and it put my IGF at 328 when I had my bloodwork done.
