Key to getting stronger

    I don't consider myself very strong. Maybe above average. But technique is what has gotten me to hit bigger numbers.

    I practiced technique for a year. I got stronger but I never lifted heavy that year. My coach had me doing reps, reps, reps and reps with light to moderate weight for that whole year. If we ever hit a training session where my form broke down on two consecutive reps. We decreased the weight for the next month unitl I had it down with no technical breakdowns.
