I have decided to completely cut full meets for just bench for now. I’m going to keep training squat and deads but just to maintain. I would like to have a 900 lb double ply and 600+ raw this year. Ill bench twice a week one max effort one speed. Speed bench 12x3 first three sets are just for warm-up Usually just the bar and doubled monster mini bands. then I do nine more adding a mini and going up to 225 bar weight. Then some dumbbell over head press 120lb 3x10 dumbbell bench 3x12 120lbs lateral flys 3x10 200+lbs skull crushers with a short barbell and 45lbs 3x8 tricep push downs till failure.
