I have been pinning in my glutes for four years now. Sometimes in TRT, others on a test only or mast cycle. I'm used to a little PIP the day or 2 after injecting. Always goes away in a day or 2.
Also, I use US pharm Watson or compounded gear, 23g-1". 1.5ccs Very cautious about being sterile. And I always massage area after pinning.

All that being said I discovered a walnut sized lump in my last injection site, upper outer right glute. No redness or fever or obvious signs of infection but it does hurt. It's sore.
I've seen threads on here about lumps that don't hurt. I'm on day 5 now since the injection.

Any similar experiences or thoughts out there besides advising a trip to a doctor? ( which I'm obviously considering if this worsens. )

I've had golf balls in both glutes and usually subsides in 4-5 days. I think you'll be good as long as it isn't warm to the touch and you don't get a fever.

Don't be too concerned. I had one abscess and there is no mistaking that it is an infection. Give it 3 or 4 days and you should see improvement every day.
