I've never injured my neck to the best of my knowledge. No car crash, no plane wreck... no real acute trauma..... However, my neck is stiff all the time now. I believe I have lost some mobility as well. Some of that loss of mobility is probably from size. (I'm not huge but 230 at 6' isn't small either and I would say traps and shoulders are over developed. ) I particularly notice issues trying to sleep and when I wake up. I seem to need to be at just the right angle where my neck is very straight. In the mornings I will lay on my back.witb a pillow folded till all seems correct and minor pain and stiffness seem ok. I'm thinking the cause of the neck issues comes from.my tendency to strain during heavy lifts.....squat dead and bench especially. Im.aware of this tendency and am working to.correct it, but I'm thinking the damage is done to some degree and I love lifting heavy so I can't take all the strain out. Have noticed when running Nandrolones the issue is just a little worse. Dont knowing that's rewl.or not or just coincidence. Considering trip.to Chiro maybe. Just wondering if anyone had similar experience and understood the root cause of the pain and if there was a way to mitigate it. I'm a bit older now and am OK with some of my body hurting as long as it is not dangerous. I get that I dont get to feel 20 years old forever.
