Neck pain and discomfort. Deca Neck?

    I've never injured my neck to the best of my knowledge. No car crash, no plane wreck... no real acute trauma.....

    However, my neck is stiff all the time now. I believe I have lost some mobility as well. Some of that loss of mobility is probably from size. (I'm not huge but 230 at 6' isn't small either and I would say traps and shoulders are over developed. )

    I particularly notice issues trying to sleep and when I wake up. I seem to need to be at just the right angle where my neck is very straight. In the mornings I will lay on my back.witb a pillow folded till all seems correct and minor pain and stiffness seem ok.

    I'm thinking the cause of the neck issues comes from.my tendency to strain during heavy lifts.....squat dead and bench especially. Im.aware of this tendency and am working to.correct it, but I'm thinking the damage is done to some degree and I love lifting heavy so I can't take all the strain out.

    Have noticed when running Nandrolones the issue is just a little worse. Dont knowing that's rewl.or not or just coincidence.

    Considering trip.to Chiro maybe.

    Just wondering if anyone had similar experience and understood the root cause of the pain and if there was a way to mitigate it.

    I'm a bit older now and am OK with some of my body hurting as long as it is not dangerous. I get that I dont get to feel 20 years old forever.

    What’s your blood pressure. Neck pain is a symptom of high blood pressure.

    Check it a few times weekly. Typically 120/80 not higher than 130/80. Have been invested in cardio for the last year to help keep BP in good range. Last run with NPP tho it did get into the 150/90 territory. That was a lil more than a year ago.

    If you know a good chiropractor, start there. Might work wonders. Takes me a day to feel better from the adjustment but it definitely helps. Give it a shot

    Should try rolling out the traps, lats and pecs. All of them put tension on tendons in the neck. Like chiropractor adjustments, it doesn't last, but at least it's free.

    Welp turns out the blood pressure is a lil out of whack. Just started week 6 of deca at 600 mg weekly. BP has been around 140/90 for a week and a half.

    @BigBaldBeardGuy do you think that is enough to be causing the neck pain?

    I though that I had out cardio ed the BP effects of nandrolone. Turns out I have not. So far, it's the only AAS that fucks with my BP. (Unsure of orals)

    Nandrolone does same thing to me too. EQ is worse for me though. 140/90 really isn’t all that bad. Slightly elevated. You can try 10 mg of cialis daily or celery seed or beet root extract. See if that lowers your BP and if the neck pain also goes away.

    Thanks man. Did beetroot last time and it helped. And I randomly have some cialis landing in the next day or two so I can give that a shot as well.

    My neck is so stiff I can turn my head and feel it stretch on the front of my face some days. It’s bad
