Opinions (Infection or Reaction)

image.jpg image.jpg Alright guys, would like some opinions from the community, I already told my buddy to see a doc, and not take any chances. First pic is 48hrs after left glute injection. The second picture was taken 5 days after injection, the lump is hard as a rock and has clearly moved lower in the past 48 hours.

That is fucking bad, no pip should be thata way. He needs help before they have to scoop that shit out or lance it and watch it explode.

I dont do glutes but it looks like he put it in the wrong spot
I said the same, after i seen the second picture, thats definatley not normal, he us going to doc now.... The strange thing is there hasnt been any fever or flu like symptoms just localized swelling and pain, ive never heard or seen anything like it not that bad anyway

It was in the right spot, the swelling moved down to the lower area over the course of a few days. This is dudes 1st inject of cyp, he was pinning prop 3x weekly previous to this.

All I can say is my god. Its looks to be some kind of infection....maybe. That's enough to make a normal person want to never use. Im not normal btw but sure as hell hope all is going to turn out ok for that poor guy. Was he complaining about it hurting? I can only imagine it does but if it doesn't that's crazy.

Don't let your buddy wait on it to long if it doesn't go down or get better with in a week I would see a doc.
It also looks like he may have pinned a little low on the glute and maybe not deep enough.
Good luck to him and keep us posted

Looks normal to me considering an idiot is pinning in the wrong spot. How many ml did he pin?

Too many here consider it looking bad from their point of view. They need to consider:
1. The guys getting the swelling like this are newbies from virgin muscle.(I got a huge welt like that from a recent pin, it hurt for 8 days first 4 days unbearable)
2. Pinning in subQ fat will cause a huge inflammation. 3. You are injecting alcohol into your muscle lol.
4. Symptoms for chemical inflammation and infection look the same.
5. Nothing is known about his injection procedure. Assuming it is a newbie he was careful and swabbed.
6. What the gear is and the % BA.

What I do know, it's not cellulitis. If infection it is going to be an abscess. Abscesses tend to take a while to build, because it is pus that needs to be producted to make it filled with liquid and it will be squishy... It's hard, cuz it's chemical inflammation :)

Thats why i said it looks like he put it in the wrong spot. I just didnt wanna type all that lol

Yeah, most guys don't have infection. If that pic is normal for a newbie who injected xML in wrong spot? Yes it is :) It's not normal to the reg population tho lol

Not sure why but my left delt always swells no matter the gear. I can hit both delts and one hurts and swells and the other is pip free. Bouta start expirementing with technique.

Whos gear is he pinning?
I focus on the user first, where did he inject (location) and depth (subq/IM), user's history of using AAS(newbie or years using AAS), user's injection procedure(sterilize vials, skin, use fresh needle), then if all that seems normal then I think about the possible gear/problem.
Then after considering the user. Identify the problem, possible cellulitis? Nope, skin doesn't look disgustingly red and spreading.
Abscess? Is it squishy, did it take a while to accumulate and is getting worse? is it spreading? is the areas downward affected? Typically pus will travel with gravity so it can develop "tubes" of pus going down the leg/ass whatever. Abscesses look very bad though, if OP would have said it was very squishy and it being red as fuck with really bad fever/cold sweats it would have made more sense to be an abscess. Even with cold sweats/fever it can be misinterpreted as "test flu" as well which is normal.
After that I consider the gear. If it has a multi-dose vial? Is it the first shot from that vial? What's the BA concentration?(1-2% will kill all bacteria and keep it from growing)

Well that's just how I "troubleshoot" these issues, am not an expert but seen tons and tons of these situations online and in person.

Honestly, it's the more experienced users that get an infection sooner or later. Start to get sloppy with sterility, have a larger injection frequency, taking for granted they won't get an infection(which is very very rare in my experience)

Just my opinion take it for what it is worth :)

Also, if you go to doctor they will look for symptoms:
-redness
-swelling
-pain
-fever

All 4 of these are consistent with PIP, so doc will pretty much always think it is an infection. They are reading from a manual lol, they don't know about PIP or how BA effects muscle/subQ tissue at the ml volumes AAS users use. Also, their opinion will convince themselves more because it is "some UGL brewing in his kitchen" which they don't know anything about how to create a sterile solution.

Funny fact, back when they started with the long ester test decanoate the doctors did 4 ml loading doses. 4 ml injected in the same spot of virgin muscle, most docs stopped prescribing the TRT because of the extreme pains and discomfort of the loading dose lol. If only the docs would have split the injection up in different sites...
