U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 80-kilograms of steroid powders and liquids hidden inside Funko Pop toys. The Funko Pop figurines were in six shipments that originated from Canada. They were confiscated in the cargo warehouse at the Queenson-Lewiston Bridge that crosses the Niagra River gorge:

Almost 80 kilograms of steroids hidden inside vinyl toys have been seized at the Queenson-Lewiston Bridge.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers on Saturday examined six shipments of toys, including Funko Pop figures, and discovered testosterone powder and steroid liquid hidden inside the packaging.

Originating in Canada, according to the CBP, the shipments were headed for various destinations throughout the United States.

"Our CBP officers continue to intercept illegal substances within cargo shipments," said CBP acting port director Sharon Swiatek.

"These seizures of steroids are another example of the vigilance and commitment by our CBP officers to maintain the safety of our communities."

Now what if they hid the powders INSIDE the figurines than inside the boxes themselves? That would been true stealth.

The shippers didn't really think outside the box...

This is a false headline: "Steroid-stuffed Funko Pop toys"

The toys weren't stuffed, it was inside the packaging, according to the official CBP website.

Yes, and are easily found upon inspection of the boxes. If the bags of raws were INSIDE the figurines themselves and the boxes carefully repacked they might not been detected.

    Hiding drugs inside figurines?
I believe I know where they got the idea from

    Totally agree.
X-Rays would spot that sooner or later, although just a small % of packages are inspected.
Some say automated X-ray machines can even spot powders by themselves.

Why are they sending raws from Canada to USA? Is it Opposite Day?
