Training muscle group 1x or 2x per week?

  1. i'm curious what you guys are doing, and if you switch up training frequency when on blast or on cruise?

    I’ve squatted up to 6x a week in the past. Currently 2-3x a week. Bench press is 3x a week. Dead’s are once a week.

    I don’t do muscle groups. I train the lifts or movement patterns.

    Squat 2x + minor leg stuff on a third day
    Pressing movements 3x (2 bench + 1 overhead press)
    Deadlift 2x
    Back 4x (alternate vertical and horizontal pulling every time I'm in the gym

    I do 2x a week for all my splits. Sometimes it stretches out to 8 or 9 days so at most 2x every 9 days. Gh15 says after you get to pro size you can get away with 1x a week if you keep your hormones high. Seems hard to believe but he is well respected so maybe... If only I ever get to that size and can maintain working out only 3x a week.

    2x a week on blast with heavy volume, 3-4x a week on cruise light volume. Increased frequency on cruise helps me maintain better since protein synthesis is not occurring around the clock

    Saying GH15 is well respected is a stretch of the imagination lol
