So, I've been using Testim now for three weeks and I feel much better on this product than the Androderm patches and androgel. Pretty soon the doc will want to do some tests and I want to ensure they testing is valid.

    The questions I have is...

    1. How long should I wait to have the blood drawn after taking Testim?
    2. What's the best time of day to test? Morning or Afternoon?

I've learned on this forum to avoid applying the gel where the blood is drawn to avoid spiked results.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Mike

give it a month. Test in the AM before medicating. Remember to catch an E2. No sex or exercise 24 hours before the draw. Getting a PSA is not a bad idea if you have not done one lately.

You may need to do many tests, I posted list of my tests many times..
Make sure that at least you do these three tests, and it is best to do blood tests at Quest Diagnostics:

    Estradiol, Ultrasensitive, LC/MS/MS (30289X)
    testosterone, Free, Bio/Total (LC/MS/MS)
    Dihydrotestosterone, Free, Serum (36168X)

both create short term changes in levels. Ultimately both increase.

does all exercise increase testosterone levels?? Even rigorous cardio??

your advice is to get testosterone tested in the morning and zero exercise the day before??
