Anabolic Steroids as Dangerous, Unpredictable, Life-Threatening as Methamphetamines

April 8, 2008 by Millard 15 Comments

Jill Atwood, of the ABC 4 News affiliate in Salt Lake City, got caught up in the steroid hysteria at the recent “Anti-steroid National Assembly Tour” at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah on Monday (“High school steroid use on the rise,” April 7).

A local high school football coach calls it an epidemic. He’s talking about illegal steroid use, and experts say is as dangerous, unpredictable, and life threatening as meth use.

The “experts” claiming steroids are as dangerous and deadly as methamphetamines were uncited. The high school coach is Les Hamilton who told his high school student athletes that steroids cause “death, pain and emotional damage.”

The steroid alarmist message is apparently what passes for steroid education at mainstream public high schools. Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff participated in the steroid education assembly which was funded by the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency and the Taylor Hooton Foundation.

I hope people watch both parts of the videos on that site, just so they fully realize just how profoundly ignorant and dangerous those people are...and I'm talking about the idiotic talking heads from the local media in Utah, just as much as the scumbags from the government and the Taylor Hooten Foundation who are putting out this ridiculous propaganda.

"No doubt this stuff can kill you...there are no benefits to using this stuff." Gee, if there were no benefits to using steroids, do they really think practically every pro athlete in the world (along with millions of the rest of us) would be using steroids?

The ignorance level out there is so profound, and the hysteria rising to such an unbelievable degree, that I know the legal environment for steroid users is only going to get much, much worse in the months and years to come. The truth doesn't matter anymore, not when they won't even listen to the truth.

Gee Steroids is now classified in the same sentence as crystal meth where do these people think up this bullshit? I work with pharmaceutical drugs every single day and never has steroids and meth come up in the same sentance. The general population are like sheep they believe everything that they read and hear. I would love to have a debate with one of these assholes on tv or radio I will totally destroy them and make them look like the assholes they really are. As a pharmacist I can tell you one thing, steroids are here to stay!!! Its only going to get more and more popular as study after study gets published on how HIV patients benefit from their use, Anti-ageing benefits of anabolic compounds are starting to show so many possitive results its craze. The majority of steroid users are cosmetic users and just like Plastic surgery is a multi million dollar industry so is steroid consumption. The DEA is fighting a losing battle. Just wait and see how steroid availability is going to increase after the Olympic Games in China later this year. Just wait and see!

of course there dangerous, cos the parasite world destroying media says so.

good idea newscrew media, lets wipe steroids out and take fucking heroin instead, then we can all gun down each other and live miserable pathetic sad empty lives because weve all had everything thats good taken away from us.

they say steroids are life threataning because it gives people what they want and makes us so happy giving people a better look and quiality of life cos they feel good and look good.

if they actually spoke to people who actually use them correctly instead of the people who over abuse them, theyd get the real story behind them.

there that thick and aggagant that they actually forgot that steroids actually save lives which is what they were designed for.

Hell my daughter was talking to me about one of her friends brothers who is only 13 getting encouraged to use meth by the adults around him with the end result being him having sevral suicide attempts and permanat brain damage........

Great response guys. Imagine what a good PCT would be for a meth cycle. Jokes aside just based on what those pictures it clearly makes the bitch who made this statement look like a total asshole. And we wonder why politicians get wacked they talk too much shit.

Your correct:
Look at Sylvester Stallone born in 1946, Arnold Schwarzenegger born in 1947. All these guys look absolutely great for there ages. Here are pics of Dorian taken last year.
Do these guys look like the meth users who are 30 years younger than them? I don't think so. Steroids are the closest thing to the fountain of youth that there is out there today, when used properly.
