Over the next week, I would receive an order or two a day. Juiceman, another one of ambassadors to whom I sent a free sample, like Psycho, had posted his pics and positive reviews of my service and products. Psycho and Juiceman were members of both iSteroids and Phantom Gym, and were promoting my products on both forums. I even obtained a client from Ghost Gym, who told me that he was glad there was another good source in that community, because he would not use that megalomaniac Black Stone or his bathtub gear anymore. The comment made me chortle, but it also cemented the concept to always treat customers with the utmost respect. I had never obtained so many clients so quickly. It was phenomenal, already better than I expected, but I still was under the impression that this could end at any time.
I was so busy monitoring my marketing, branding, and orders that I didn’t think much about the development of the website with a foreign hosting company. Throughout the week, my friend Dave, who was working developing a website and foreign hosting company for me, began asking me for the various information that was required for establishing the website. At one point, he called me and asked me what I wanted my email address to be. It would be ____________@bdsupplements.im, from the domain name I bought out of The Isle of Man. I suddenly realized THAT is how other sources were using email addresses that weren’t Yahoo or Gmail. They bought foreign domain names, and had their websites and email accounts hosted outside the country. This was my answer to the email dilemma! Everything was falling into place. I thought about what I wanted my email address to be. I was terrible and choosing creative names. I just wanted something simple that clearly indicated this was an email address to purchase anabolic steroids. “How about bestgear@bdsupplements.im,” I stated. And so it was.
Dave informed me that my website was live, and hosted by some European/Canadian company. His research indicated that the hosting sites were in Europe. That was out of the jurisdiction of the United States; perfect. I typed in bdsupplements.im into my address bar, and the familiar website reading “BDSupplements” in blinking letters, appeared on the screen.
Underneath my business name read “For a product pricelist and ordering information, email bestgear@bdsupplements.im.” I couldn’t believe I had a website! I immediately logged on to iSteroids, sent a Private Message to the Administrator with the new website, and told him I was all set. Now I just had to wait for him to respond. With my luck, he would tell me that something was wrong, and he couldn’t list me as an approved source.
I went to the gym and then to work. While at work, I answered some questions, and sent out some product lists to some prospective clients, but it was a busy day in the Emergency Room and I didn’t have much time to monitor my steroid business. One of my clients had received his products, and he flat out stated that the communication was excellent, the shipping time was phenomenal, the products looked good, but the packaging was atrocious. He received his products in a cardboard envelop, with the products wrapped in paper towel, and said that we are both lucky that his vials didn’t break in the mail. He stated that other sources ship in boxes, and use bubble wrap to protect each product. He was nice enough to say that I seemed like a good source, and therefore he did not want to post on the public forum about my lousy packaging, but that my shipping methodology needed to improve. Bubble wrap; what a novel idea. I made a mental note to only use small USPS Priority boxes from now on, and I would stop to get some bubble wrap.
When I returned home, I finished answering emails, and checked iSteroids. No response. Probably not good. I went to bed for the night, for I had some things to do in the morning. I had to revise and restructure my shipping department.
I woke in the morning and prepared for the day. First, I wanted to check iSteroids. I logged in and immediately noticed that I had a Private Message. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but something looked peculiar. Something looked different. I checked the message. It was from the Administrator. It simply said “Okay”. What did that mean? Then I noticed the difference. Under my username BDSupplements, I usually had a light green oval tag indicating the number of points I had acquired through the point system from my posts, with the word “beginner” inside the light green oval tag, because I was a new member. This was typical of any new user. Now, there was a light blue oval tag with the word “Source” where the word “Beginner” used to be. I was officially and approved source on iSteroids, the largest anabolic source forum in the world.
