Trukkers Hormone Highway to Hell

I don't mind being the mean guy. I'm really no different in person

Truth be told, im the EXACT same way on here i am in life. Im straightforward. I love to joke. Im sarcastic. And I love working out. I bet if someone who nee me came in and read my post they would know right away it was me.

But Ive actually had people complain im being mean to all the new guys and sources

12/5/15 Arms

Close grip bench 225x8 225x8 225x5 135x9
Standing barbell curl (straight) 85x8 85x8 85x8 65x8
Lying skull crushers 75x12x4
Machine curls 100x10 100 x 10 95x8 80x6 60x10 50x10
Tricep Pressdowns 90x12 90x12 70x12
Reverse pulldown (one handed) 20x8x2

All the volume is making me adjust. Still pushing that envelope of failure. This is not easy. The strength isn't there in the latter sets but keep pushing. Making stress for the muscle bellys. I'm just shy of 200 reps for arms a week now. And it's definitely working. Even my hard to impress wife said she's noticing it ;)

On a side note I'm nailing these lying skull crushers. My form is unbelievable. I go about 45 degrees back from my forehead and crush at the angle with a deep deep stretch. Man these are good. They no longer feel strange. And my tricep heads are no longer thin and little.

Love it. You're making me wish it was arm day. Come on tomorrow! Goddamned saturday legs. . .

The lying skulls have put more size and definition on my arms than any other lift I do IMO. I feel bad for the bros who can't do them without pain. Just a phenomenal lift. It's like the bench press of isolation movements, absolute king of arm mass for me. Glad to see you're digging them too, they get a bad rap a lot.

Leg day falls on Saturday for me too :o

Really?? I didnt think that , but i was wondering why i was the only person following his training log. Kinda felt bad for the guy , but i think he quit posting there.

Man I was following his training log, I like to see what kind of different movements, sets, and reps everyone does. Shame he had to be full of shit. He never answered ya on what a rope cable pullover was, I thought that was rude. Lol

Anyway I believe this is what it is:

How do you do a standing rope cable pullover? I cant picture it.

Didn't wanna bump his thread and was hoping ya wouldn't care Trukker. :)

Thanks Seven! You know the main reason i was asking him questions is because i felt bad nobody else was following his thread. Cant help it, im a nice guy.
I agree with D-ballin, skull crushers are the shit win it comes to building mass and strength. I do them same as you Trukk 45 degree angle but my head is close to the edge of the bench so that on the negative i can let it stretch way below my head. I dont go to my forehead anymore and my elbows thank me for it, and i feel that extra stretch has def made it a more productive movement. I also love close grip BP as well, great exercise!!!.

So I felt confident to do legs this week. A bit of lower back stiffness right now but not the usual disconnect feeling I get. Sitting in my truck with the seat reclined to even it out a bit

12/6
Squats
135x12
225 x 10
315x4
315x4

Leg ext
5 sets of 10 reps to failure

Machine leg press ( you know that one the old and weak people use)
210x10
290x10
390x10
Maxed it out at 390

Donkey calf raises
90x20
90x20
135x12
180x10
225x10

Seated leg curls
90x20
130x20

Legs 150 reps total
Calves 72 reps total

I was pretty happy with today's results. I measure success on scale of pain I experience. The all out effort with maximal weight isnt the plan any more. I'm capable but my poor back isn't going to do it. I'll just have to come to terms with it. Although I do find it extremely easy to sacrifice ego on all other exercises. Legs is a hurdle I have a tough time getting over. I'd love to do squats 315 for reps of 10 and sets of 7 like I once did but I like to keep my health too:(

On a good note. My calves are large and in charge. I may just put a nipple on those things and call em DD's:eek:
