What books is everyone reading or have you read?

Doesnt have to be lifting, AAS, or training related. But it can be...

Just for the record, my favorite all time book is Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King.

Im a huge Stephen King fan, I loved the first 3 Bourne books (by the OG author), and theres a lot of others Im sure will come to mind later.

Dark tower series was fucking awesome. Read it a dozen times. The Kennedy assassination book he wrote was dope too.

I just read sirens of titan again (vonnegut), 5/3/1 for powerlifting by wendler and some shitty Robin cook garbage on a plane. Oh- the shining part 2 was pretty dope too. Doctor sleep.

Its crazy how many Dark Tower fans we have here.

I posted this in @Perrin Aybara log, but theyre finally making the movies.

Matthew McConaughey And Idris Elba Are Set To Star In Stephen King's...

Hopefully theyre half as good as the books.

This was a good idea for a thread. I haven't been reading much lately, but the last thing I read was Doctor sleep by Stephen king, pretty good
Not as good as the shining but interesting for sure.

Well actually the meso book club has been a thing for a while it's just been hiding under a different thread name :p

Favourite books is the lord of the rings series/hobbit series.

Althought most of my reading is in the sports and nutrition world, most useful book I find is either starting strength or becoming a supple leopard

Just because we moved it doesnt mean Im still not coming over to your thread and hanging out. You have all the cool toys!

I am going to buy killing the host by Michael Hudson when I get paid... money is tight kicking off the new year... fucking taxes and birthdays

Yeah @RodgerThat but your thread is just the official Stephen King fan club, this thread is a bit more expansive and can cover other authors as well lol

I think I may have to take myself to the bookstore or library sometime soon, I haven't had a good read in a long while, used to all the time, idk what happened.

I'm so in. Crazy how many Dark Tower fans there are here, such an awesome series. I'll be back in a few with a long post.

Dat der ADD prevents me from enjoying anything at length. I've tried. Oh I've tried. I usually try half a chapter at a time. A chapter is a stretch. My mind skips sentences. Can't concentrate. Even if I like what I'm reading.

Have you tried books on tape? My pops has trouble reading because, well like what you said, skips sentences and blanks out sometimes. The Book On Tape Thing worked well for him because he could just kind of focus on listening.

Books on tape are good as long as a good celebrity is reading them. Like Ozzy Osborne or Shaq.

We used to have a thread like this and I've been thinking about bumping it. I'm reading the 3rd book in the series " The reckoners" ( calamity ) right now by Brandon Sanderson.
I'm part of an online book club this year and I set myself a goal of reading 52 books this year. So far so good but I know me. I'll get lazy in a month or two and won't pick up a book for 3 months.

Favorite book: Ready Player One ( Steven Spielberg is actually making the movie now. )

Favorite series: The Iron Druid.

Some great stuff in here. King, Tolkien, and Ludlum are all long standing favorites. I've actually never read the Dark Tower series, or any of the fantasy King. Apparently I need to. IT was a favorite, one creepy ass book. I just re read Cell recently to kill time, that was a fun short one.

Re read Watership Down last month, forgot how great that was.

I need to dedicate more time to books nowadays. Too easy to get busy and let them go. But so much more rewarding than the screen.
