Marvel movies, whats your opinion of them?

I think DC has been doing fantastic despite what the critics say. Dawn of Justice was great IMO and I thought minus the Enchantress, suicide squad was another great film.

The dark vibe DC brings really keeps my interest and I think the MCU has some very obvious plot holes that make it hard for me to take serious. But all in all, I think the movies serve their purpose and are enjoyable.

You're telling me you watched the scene where he puts the smile tattoo on his hand up to his mouth, laughed, and you actually enjoyed that?
His grill. His stupid look. I read all the stuff Jared Leto did to prepare for this roll, and how balls deep he went into things and he still was literally the worst actor I have ever witnessed.

Just my opinions.
 
I kind of think they had to do a different take on the Joker after Heath Ledger was gone. His performance set the bar so high that any other actor trying to imitate it would be a disappointment.

... we can't argue about this because yes I completley and utterly enjoyed that. The dude is clearly shown as a sociopath! It's opionated obviously but I just can't see in any way Jared leto did a poor job at acting or that this joker idea in general deserves that much hate. BTW His teeth are like that because batman knocked all his teeth out. They took the idea of joker and put him in a present day scenario. I enjoyed almost everything about him.

I feel like David Ayers made up all that stuff after the fact to justify how stupid he looked. No way to prove it, but there was no explanation of any reasoning behind Leto's look until after he got a bunch of flak for the look.

There's a sentence I never thought I'd see...

I watched Batman vs Superman over the weekend for first time... I was surprised but I actually thought it was good. Got mixed reviews so hopes weren't really that high, good flick though.

Still, not sure I accept Ben as Batman.... Hard for me to take him seriously.

Im with you im unsure of Affleck as batman
Same as im unsure about the new 007 guy. Freakin sucks
 
I went into Batman vs Superman expecting to hate affleck. I feel like he did a good job. I liked the darker feel of the movie, along with the bitter hateful Bruce Wayne character. New Alfred is the man. Have to See how Affleck does in the solo venture.
 
Unless you read the actual comics, you would think that Ben Affleck was a terrible batman. When the producers are trying to stay true to the comics and the fan base, the result is different. Ben played a Batman that was fed up with playing roles and was angry and a bit impatient after fighting crime all those years. He actually nailed the comic version of batman the movie was based off.

I was pretty surprised of how much I liked it. My girlfriend got drawn into it and she wasn't even watching it from the start lol.

Something about Ben as Batman is just hard for me to buy into... He's a great actor though, just doesn't seem right for Batman. Maybe I'll loosen up on it, Batman was my childhood hero so I'm picky.

Whose playing the new 007? I think I read about it but forget who the hell it is now....

Agreed. The later life/older Batman story lines are the best. Would love to see the knightfall/azrael storyline make it to the screen in an R rating.

Think his name is Daniel Craig.
He is NOT 007 to me. Too short, too gay/metro looking
Doesnt quite stack up IMO
