Radar Lidar Detectors

Hey guys, got my first ticket in a long time.
Thinking about getting a detector to avoid future tickets.
With the use of lazers, can you even slow down in time?
Is it worth getting one?

They work very well on traditional radar detectors where LE have their systems turned on and are actively searching for speeders. With lasers your fukd. The detector won't know about it till your car is already tagged by the laser. At that point its to late. There's nothing on the market to help combat lasers. Hope this helped.

Escort 9500ix with GPS capabilities. Bitch is bad. Saved me multiple times in a cobra with a blower

I got a Escort also but without the GPS and it saved me a few times. It differently helps avoiding tickets. Mine has paid itself off.

I've had mine warn before I got hit with laser it picks up some signal off there car that will warn u before hand and also if he would of used it before he got to you, you could had a heads up. Just my experience with the Escort brand.

It picks up signals from other cars being painted. That's why you were told it was being used. Lidar can be used from 4,000 feet away. You'd have no idea you were being painted until your painted. Veil is much more effective. And jammers are illegal in many states and will continue to be banned. LE also knows very easily who is jamming their signal. Since Lidar is only about 20" wide they know what car is jamming them. Which will only draw more attention to you. Detectors against traditional radar are excellent. With Lidar its only detecting when used. And a lot of times its to late. My point is the only way to avoid a speeding ticket is not to speed. The only reason GPS may be helpful is by others with devices pointing out where speed traps are. They can definitely be helpful, but have their weaknesses.

LMAO! I have to say something responsible. I feel a little guilty for being able to flip my light bars on and not worry about it. I do understand how a speeding ticket is a pain in the ass. Average ticket price- $152 bucks. Not cheap.

Yes I have arrest powers. But worrying about who's using AAS means dick to me. LOL. I handle money laundering and exporting issues. Along with military contractor disputes. A lot of the dudes here know that. No secret. Just don't export military technology. Then I'd care. LOL

I thought you knew. Our country has many more pressing issues then AAS use in my humble opinion. To me the DEA is the biggest waste of tax payer money. Put that money into Homeland Security and Customs. Let local and state police handle drugs. I'm sure the DEA would disagree though.

The State Department handles all international travel issues with U.S. citizens. No its not illegal for him to hang out with another countries leader. Its perfectly legal for a U.S. citizen to travel to North Korea. But it would also be a fukin stupid idea.
