All Major Postal Services Will be Searching Packages from China for Drugs?

So Trump has ordered the major postal services to start searching all packages from China for Fentanyl. Obviously all incoming steroids will be caught when they start opening stuff up. However, does anyone think that USPS and such will actually do this? Seems like it would violate some type of constitutional right to open up packages just because they come from China lol

Like a lot of the Trumpster's ideas, it's not feasible and won't happen because while it sounds good on paper it won't work in real life. In an overly simplistic world where thirty seconds worth of thought solves every major issue, it's a fantastic idea.

Millions of packages comes from China every day. Good luck searching every single one of those.

If it does happen, Chinese drug dealers will simply reship from other shady countries. There's too much money to be made to say "fuck it, they're searching packages" and give up.

Dont worry democrats will block it somehow they will find an Obama federal judge to shut it down at least for a few months.
What are you talking about? You have no idea what you're talking about; there is bipartisan agreement on the opiate crisis and issues surrounding fentanyl.

Learn how to read dumbass, nobody ever said open every package from China.

He said:

"SEARCH FOR & REFUSE all deliveries of Fentanyl from China"

This is not the same as.

"Open and search every fucking package"

Someone's a bit high strung.

Settle down and take your pills, Guy.

you're fucking dumb ... so how are they going to know whether it's fentanyl or not ? random guesses?
no they're gonna x ray shit . not saying this shit is gonna happen 100% but if this is implemented i would suppose theyre pulling anything out with powder and testing that shit

Even if this happens (and likely will, as has happened with Moldova)),, there will always be another country (or countries) somewhere that will be willing to fill in the AAS supply/demand from China. Its just really a lost cause on the part of the USA government. Lets face it,, the USA government is pretty good at wasting tax payers money

While I agree, that the underground will always find a way, and it is far fetched to think it will ever be eliminated, what could very well happen is prices can go up.

If you look at any "substance", it is almost universally true, that the more risk/effort it takes to get it here, or risk involved in possessing/selling it, the more expensive it is. If large packages coming in, start to get caught, at a higher rate, and dom. UGL's become harder and harder to operate due to supply issues, or increased risk of getting caught, there could be a sharp increase in pricing(look at pricing in countries with strict customs ie. Canada)

I guess a lot remains to be seen.
