LONESOME DOVE

That's an awesome pick.
I remember watching that on T.V. as a mini-series over 4 nights. I was sick with the flu. My dad "taped" it on the vcr. We would quote it. He kept saying "aye God woodrow", and "Lorie darlin". I even bought the book. I don't remember reading it all though. My dad went on to read other books by him, Larry McMurtry.

There is another movie made about Gus and Captain when they were young. Dead Mans Walk I believe. Will check when I get home. You will like it also.

Gladiator was a great movie. It was just announced in 2019 that Gladiator 2 received the greenlight and Ridley Scott will be producing it.

The Resident Evil movies are good for a watch through

Also, the choreography in the John Wick movies really stood out to me and were all around well done imo. Especially with the way a lot of the kills in the first movie were executed had me re-watching scenes multiple times.
