Some universities have gotten wise to this and have threatened and actually expelled students who try for a second test. The rule is to self quarantine or be expelled, and if you try to prove the test wrong, even if you do prove it, you are expelled. It also proves they don't have to report double tests, since they can detect them well enough to expel students for doing it.
Bro just relax and stay home for a bit. A week or so is nothing. And while this is not the killer the media makes it out to be, as can be seen from the comments here real people are really dying, and the other part people don’t talk about is the hospital capacity. Though people may not die, as they take up space in hospitals there are people waiting who also need that space and the poor workers in the hospitals could use a break. Maybe that isn’t the way it is where you at, if so great, chill at home for a bit to help keep it that way. But the main thing, don’t panic, and stay off Facebook, Twitter, etc. No one needs another Covid story. Read all the good info here and you will also get to know some of these guys too by reading. Enjoy, get better and in a few weeks or less you are going to be back training with a vengeance!

This is true but the tests are faulty. My brother tested positive two weeks ago so he couldn’t work and after 9 days of feeling fine he got another test and was negative.
it sucks to be a statistic for these bullshit numbers but he gets to work again.

Im overseas and where i am we have strict travel restrictions within the country. So i travelled, but was required to undergo rapid antibody test upon arrival, RT-PCR swab test on day 7 of facility quarantine, another rapid antibody test in day 10 of facility quarantine, then 7 days home quarantine, total 17 days of quarantine, i was negative for all 3 tests. That was protocol just to travel from one part of the country to another. If you tested positive it was isolation quarantine until you test negative. Crazy strict here.

Same here. And its not a simple slap on the wrist if you don't follow the "prevention tactics"
My company has about 85% of its annual revenues tied up in unfinished contracts overseas, because if we paid the employees, inspectors and other required experts we need to get everything certified to sit isolated in a hotel for 14 days, we would lose money on every contract before they even started the job.

Were I work we had some one travel to site from out of country for a 2 week rotation. He flew into our country had to sit in quarantine in a hotel for 2 weeks, then go to site for 2 weeks, then quarantine for another 2 weeks in a hotel in his home country. Definately not economical these days

My city is currently in tier 3 lockdown so my father who works all over the country isn’t able to travel back for thanksgiving. He has to sit in a hotel until he goes to the next job or is allowed to come home. Most likely will be the next job.
I have tested negative 5 times and it was always the RT-PCR tests so I’m going to get antibody tested today because I’ll be donating plasma if I have them. I thought the tests I took before would tell me if I have antibodies but none of the papers I received had anything on it regarding antibodies so I’ll have to have my plasma tested.
