Alot of OG's are still around. They just dont post much anymore. The days of veteran members being active are long gone. Some hilarious and entertaining times in some older source threads. Witty and damned funny dudes that knew their stuff.

I can't fault you for your skeptical view based on my join date. But I've made my observation over a much longer time that that.
Some of the members i've enjoyed reading are still around, thats true. That doesnt change the fact that this forum has declined recently. Alot of good contributing memebers have disappeared, not all, but alot, and it's had an impact. You are, of course, free to disagree.

Disagreement didn't have much to do with it. The repeated violation and blatant disregard for the rules did. The personal attacks, public and private, didn't help matters. If anyone thinks I am the enemy when it comes to harm reduction, then they shouldn't care to be a part of this forum anyway and they are not particularly welcome for that matter.

While i shouldn't be advertising another board on my home board, if you haven't checked out the aforementioned board, stop by sometime.
While i love Meso, i get the dry heaves from the way some members here cuddle up to sources. You don't see that much over there. Much. There will always be shills and bootlickers on every board sadly.
UG will never replace Meso for me, but it's a good getaway when you run out of new content here.
BBBG while a smart guy, was quick to insult anyone and had in and out group. There was a click of guys that all had to ride each others dicks and agree with each other or BBBG and his clan would jump your ass.
Expertise is always welcomed, but who wants a group of ten guys that jump in and insult.
Hopefully there will be others that are intelligent and wise that will join this forum, but I don't think anyone enjoyed being on BBBG bad side.
As for kissing sources ass. The problem with BBBG and his merry band of pricks was that they were so hateful and rude to sources over shit that could be fixed that they burned out.
Being a source isn't a picnic, especially when people are bitching over $150 orders. This is UGL and it will never be as good as legit Pharma, you just have to accept that and move one.
BBBG was a master of the personal insult, legendary some would say, but that gets old real quick with him dominating and having the final word on everything.
I would describe BBBG with one word: Toxic.

BBBG is toxic to sources that are dodgy and bring out a shill army, while the ones that are honest and that answer the questions posed of them about their products and their practices he has no problem with actually.
In many ways BBBG acted like he owned this forum. He acted like he ran the show and decided who lived up to his high expectations.
I'll admit I found BBBG to be a shallow insulting twat and it wasn't just him, it was several of his buddies that were full on raging fuckheads.
I felt he was a bit snarky at times even to me but he never really put anyone down unless that person was truly a fuckwit.
In fact, out of the blue he apologized to me one time.
The bottom line is this wasn't his forum.
I would never go around personally attacking people on a forum I don't own. I wouldn't even attack even if I owned the forum.
It gave Meso a bad reputation.
Lets be honest there's only one person that really has any first hand analytical ability on this forum and that's Jano. I do my best with my science background, but I don't have HPLC, I don't have standards and controls. I don't have access to testing of the Indian reagent companies or how China labs cook up their raws.
So while BBBG ranted about testing, the testing was never in his control so how the fuck we he even know what he's talking about. He just enjoyed being the most knowledgeable person in the room on a surface level, there was nothing he could offer other than his quick wit which could be used for good on rare occasions and for abuse more often than not.
