Post Injection Pain Advise?

Instead of coming here and asking or searching or reading I just went ahead and did a full-on-stupid. Did a subQ instead of IM with a dose of T-enanthate. Vigorous Steve was making claims about a slower more even release release of the dose. Anyway, never again for me. Red, swollen, painful. Anything other than ibuprofen to take the edge off of the swelling or just leave it alone for better healing?

How long is my new friend going to hang around for?

The only upside is that it's not in a place that seriously affects mobility.

The first piece of advice is to stop listening to youtubers. Enanthate is already a long-ish ester, if you want more stable levels just add another injection day each week. SubQ has benefits but not worth the regular pip IMO. Only for tiny volumes.

It should get better each day and be gone within a week (as long as it wasn't a massive shot). You can put an ice pack or massage it but at the end of the day there is oil trapped under your skin. It will go away when it's absorbed and dispersed. Just make sure it's not showing signs of infections.

Your friend is gonna bother you for up to two weeks.

What gauge needle are you injecting with? I find that my body absorbs the pips after a 6-7 weeks and it gets easier.

Out of interest have you had much in the way of PIP from IM? (Ignoring things with an intrinsically high chance of PIP, eg 200mg TP, pharma sust etc)

Thanks, seems to be easing up today, 72 hours later. 25G 5/8 for injection.

Never from IM and this has been almost 4 years with hundreds of shots (3x week TRT+ always TE 250 @ 0.275/per, nothing else). Keeping everything clean and as sterile as possible has been the number one for me. Not saying that this one time doing subQ something didn't get through but it would be an odd coincidence.

Thanks for the advice all.

I have been doing subq test cyp for 4 years. Last two years I subq NPP and Primo. PIP sucks with NPP and primo the first two or three injections but then goes away completely as if the body adjusts.

I never once had red or swollen issues with subq in my butt check. Just a dull pain a few days while the oil breaks down in NPP and primo. You may have an infection.

You may have an infection.
Maybe, but, it would be a serious coincidence. As mentioned in another reply, hundreds of IM injections have gone without issue. Same procedure, very anal about keeping things sterile, new syringe and needle every time. So I suspect maybe the carrier oil and my biology are not getting along. It is settling down now.

Dude you sure your test is not shitty? I've done 150 sq shots for the last 5 months with test E, both pharma and UGL and never had a pip! Why 25G and why 5/8? You should do half inch (unless you have a handfull of fat) and 29G, push the plunger slow. If you forced it with the 25G it may went in fast and create some kind of inflammation.

Also if you're not fat enough, is there's a chance you were borderline between adipose tissue and muscle/tendon or whatever?

Drawing conclusions from a single subq shot is like doing your first im shot and call it a bad decision because it gave you PIP.

Thankfully i haven't experienced any pip or side from test E and primo from driada these last 2 weeks i'm injecting with these. Now 2 weeks more and then drawing bloods.

If gear gives you pip change it that’s a rule I follow.
Ugl gear subq I felt a knot and wasn’t happy about it
Pharma grade subq didn’t feel any pain knots etc.. but I’m against subq just use insulin needle 33g and that’s all.. find a lean muscle area poke the needle deep inside and add extra pressure to go deeper and inject.. (with a little bit of effort even an elephant can fuck a mosquito) that’s a good quote to follow!.

Idk why people listen to "influencers".

There seems to be a rise in the sub-q trend, there's also a rise in people posting threads about pain/knots/discomfort after doing sub-q injections. These same people also admit they don't experience the same knots/pain when doing IM injections. IM has worked for 40+ years, now the reddit/tiktok/influencer crowd suddenly wants to re-invent the wheel.

Test E/C is a hit or miss in my experience, I had to bin year worth of it twice. From now on only the most trusted sources, I'd rather pay a bit extra but get quality. You get what you pay for stands true sometimes.

Yeah the known issue with raws. Whatever fits your body man, i'd definitely throw any stuff that i can't handle well. Sometimes pain is subjective, if you keep pinning and besides pain you have any sort of allergic response then throw it away. Sometimes guys have allergic response to pharma, for example with sustanon or aburaihan test E, it's from the carrier oil. You better try one brand and if it's g2g you stack some xD

Because science is progressing, it's not a constant we all learn and stick with it and i'm pretty sure some things remained the same for the last 40+ years but many changed in the process. Maybe it's about time to try a new method, more promissing with better results (less fluctuations, less aromatization, no scar tissue build up etc) and easier to use.

You're right about the rise of people complaining, and guess what..if this trend continues to grow more people will post complains, it has some logic as it's something new. I'm pretty sure most of us starting with gear, our first 5-10 shots weren't the best. Most guys experience pain, maybe bruises, nicked veins etc. You rarely see someone complain because they new it before they start, and when you see someone complaining about horrible IM pip most of the replies are "it's a virgin muscle, you'll get used to it" but when someone has a lump from subq "it's idiotic, vigorous steve full of shit, fuck trends bring the ol 18G harpoon and grow a pair.."

I fucking hate absolutes and i'm not trying to convince anyone about what's better. I really don't know what it is, i just don't like seeing short sighted guys in a field that constantly changes.

Show me the science behind less aromitization. Link me the studies. People attribute slower (less efficient absorption) to more stable levels, yet for most of these esters, if you're pinning 2x a week on longer esters, or ED or EOD on shorter esters, than stable levels is a non-factor

I don't think the science is evolving. I think the culture is shifting. Too many people listening to these youtube/tiktok/reddit pu**ies that are too afraid to go an extra 1/2" on their injections, then go as far as to claim their method as scientifically superior. And nobody is advocating for 18g IM. Not a single person. 25G, even 27G is more than enough. The amount of people complaining about IM, compared to sub-q is fractional. Less than 20%

I don't really care how people choose to inject their gear either. I'm just tired of seeing these "I pinned subq and have pain/redness/a lump/a knot, what should I do?" type threads. Either grow a pair and do IM, or stick to sub-q and stfu with the whining about being in pain

Better chill brother, i replied to you to have a friendly conversation, no need to be aggressive. I'm not going to post anything in a such hostile attitude. If you think the reason behind sq is because i'm a p*ssy, feel free to stick yours as deep as you can if that makes you feel more manly. Cheers.

Fair. I'm still curious as to the science behind the less aromitization though
