Planning my first homebrew of Test Enanthate and want to verify solvent ratios. From my research, Test E typically requires:
- 1-2% BA (planning 1%)
- 15-20% BB (most guides suggest 18-20%)
However, I’ve seen a few sources claim Test E can hold at just 2% BB when using MCT oil, even at higher concentrations (250-300mg/mL).
For experienced brewers:
1. Has anyone successfully run Test E long-term with only 2% BB? Any crashing issues?
2. Does carrier oil (MCT vs. GSO) significantly impact minimum BB requirements?
3. Any other tips for first-time Test E brew? (Sterilization, filtering, etc.)
I’ll be brewing small test batches first, but want to avoid wasted raws. Appreciate any hard-earned wisdom.
