@CHIEF M how many pull ups can you do
I did a little math based on what we know about @CHIEF M and have calculated he can do the following # of pull ups:

Same here. The bigger I got, the less pull ups I could do, even though I was gaining muscle. Makes sense, legs, chest, delts, tris, and many other muscles are dead weight for pull ups. Plus, it's bodybuilding, not cross fit lol
Yup exactly that last part!!! Move some fucking iron and when you guys get in the 215+ in off-season everything becomes a task lol breathing is hard sometimes lol
 
Assisted pull-ups are the shit for when you get bulked up. You can squeeze the shit out of the back and maintain your technique without any other mechanics complicating things. For some reason I see dudes shying away from them cus they’re “assisted”. Big mistake.

Also, straps. For pretty much everything but warmups. I use straps and utilize as little grip as possible. Allows me to focus on pulling with the lats / elbows. I spent years pulling off the floor raw with just chalk. My back grew a lot using lighter (relatively) weights with straps.
