Whats something you wished you knew before your first cycle?

I’ve learned that trying to change people’s minds about things like this is futile (nobody was going to change my mind when I decided to start that’s for sure).

The best advice I’d give my old self prior to starting is this:

1. If you’re spending more time / money on gear than your diet / food prep, you’re doing it wrong

2. Be very aggressive with tracking your bloodwork and health parameters.

3. This one is tough. Be mentally prepared for coming off / cruising. Once you have everything else dialed in (training, diet, rest, etc.) you realize that the gear is in fact just the icing on the cake. It’s not the main event. But that took me many years to get to. And until you reach that point you’ll end up doing stupid shit like running dosages too high for too long, cutting short your cruises, using way too much shit, etc. everyone comes off / cruises. Everyone. And there’s good reason for it. You’ll get the hang of it like all the other aspects of this game. But try to master this sooner than later.
 
recovery most likely, i was used to sleeping at 2-3 am and waking up at 11am. i only started taking everything more seriously like 3 months ago. training eating and recovery

You still got a lot of gas in the tank gains wise. And I mean a LOT.
IF you lock in, you will make about as much progress as you have already made in the next 3 years.

Your mistake is thinking i would get offended by what some people say to me on a roiding forum which i joined originally to learn and read others opinion or advice

My question, is considering I have little muscle mass according to everyone on here and i still have to lose fat, why cant i hop on a test cycle? the whole problem is my muscle mass why not speed up the process of building muscle while im on reta aswell to burn fat?

the main concern is my recovery, training and diet? hemce why you guys advice against a test cycle?

Your problem is low muscle mass AND high bodyfat percentage. If you were skinny af you could start blasting, not that I recommend it when you‘re so small but realistically nobody is going to stop you. If you start blasting now you will gain muscle but a disproportional amount of fat too because if you look like that after three years of lifting your diet and training is obviously shit.

Imagine yourself with a bit bigger arms (that just look like a sausage with zero details or vascularity) and generally slightly more muscle but at the cost of having red skin from high blood pressure, a bloated fat face, love handles, no abs and potentially even growing tits. I don’t think you want to look like that but that’s what’s going to happen if you start blasting now.
 
Do at least a year or 2 of consistent training, consistent diet etc. then think about it, if you haven't got things locked in, its a waste of time and money

buuuuut, if you're going to do it anyway, Start with just test, find the dose you can tolerate without sides then go from there

so what if i keep loosing fat with reta? to the point where i have visible abs?

Very relatable advice. I always say the struggle was worth it for the conviction.

Don't use racing fuel until you're a race car dude

Right now you are a unicycle. Not insulting you. But you are literally JUST beginning and don't have a clue about what you are doing

You have 1,000 things to learn about nutrition and training before you become just a bicycle.........and still a very long road after that until you are a race car

You're a beginner. Do beginner shit. Use your common sense dude.

Testosterone does not build muscle.

The only things that build muscle are a solid training program, a solid food plan, hard work, dedication and diciplin.

You can not inject those things. You don't have them now, and injecting test isn't going to make them magically appear for you.

Why are you unable to lose 25 pounds of fat without reta?

Why aren't you able to build muscle without test?

Fix whatever is preventing you from just doing it right now. You don't need drugs for either of those things.

2 things. If you take test now

1. where will you pin? your muscles are not large enough to comfortably fit the oil. And dont say SubQ like a little btich. that wil welt and hurt for days/weeks and you will immediately come back crying.

2: if you dont fix diet and training now, you will use gear, get a mediocre physique, not be satisfied, and resort to the only thing you will have learned: using more gear. Thats how people have heart attacks at 30, kidney failure at 40, etc.

Ruins the reputation of us gearheads.


All in all, just learn how to train properly, eat properly and rest properly. after that you have my blessing for a full year of just upping test incrimentally until you dont want to anymore.

Nah lil homie, I didn't think you would be offended. I just assumed you lack the maturity to show restraint and do what's best for yourself. I'd be happy to be wrong but we see it every day. Young kids come here looking for validation of their poor choices, get shot down and either stomp off angry, argue to the death or just are never seen again because they headed back to their echo chambers.

If you decide to do the right thing and stay natty for a few years before you dip into drugs I'll be right there cheering you on. Make a training log. I'll follow along and share all the training tips I know. I have experience showing beginners how to train effectively. I can probably even guess how you're fucking up right now. I see it every day at my gym. Beginners make a lot of the same mistakes.

If you'll notice, not a single person in this thread has advocated for you hopping on cycle. They are just assuming you will so they're giving you the safest route to do so. I don't agree with that approach but I understand it.

Either way, good luck to you. Hope you don't shorten your life unnecessarily or sterilize yourself before you've had a chance to step into the real world.
 
So you're gonna go from chunky to fat on your first cycle then PCT off? Waste of time, health and drugs. 10% and accept this as a lifestyle or stay natty. You are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Yeah, that’s the realization I had to come to very fast after asking the basic questions. I made my decision and well here I am. It’s a tough decision for sure though.

If you’ve been training for 3 years and you yielded that physique, you did everything completely wrong. Download my fitness pal and get a food scale immediately. Learn about a calorie deficit, then start reading the nutrition facts of every single piece of food you buy, and if they’re not on the package, google them. Track every single calorie that goes in your body. If you can’t do this, this lifestyle is not for you.
