CBS,
Dr Jim did attempt to change our perception of stretch, but it was his methods that made everyone question his motives.
I trusted stretch because when I came to meso he was the first source to help me out, I received my products as advertised, and they worked well.
Collectively it does sound like we were a herd of blind sheep, but individually most of our trust was attributed to the good deeds that had been done on our behalf.
If I had any evidence that stretch would disappear, I would have come forward. Period.
It seems like the guys that had been here as long as him should have told more history and provided the same evidence that has been shown over the past two weeks.
Would that have changed anything?
I don't know.
But who is to say the sources I currently deal with won't do the exact same thing tomorrow?
It is awful that we lost Jim to this, hell I hate seeing everyone at each others necks these past few weeks.
If there is something you feel I should have done differently with the knowledge I had at the time, please let me know. Hopefully we can stop it sooner in the future.

My post was not meant to be a shot even though it came out that way. The point was to show how easily Stretch was able to sweet talk many, many people. He did favors for people, seemingly out of the goodness of his heart, but in reality, it was part of his agenda. It was done to buy your unwavering loyalty and to ensure nobody ever questioned his agenda. He was buying your "indebtedness.
ANY criticism of Stretch was met with attacks on the messenger. That was exactly how Stretch planned it. I used Dr Jim as an example because he was Stretch's most vocal critique but you can see from reading this thread that nobody heeded his warnings. Jim tried to get people to think - most wouldn't.
Stretch went to unbelievable lengths to make people believe he was their friend while earning money from them at the same time. The point I hope people get from this is that sources are NOT your friend. They are here to line their pockets with your money.
Be careful. There are many sources like Stretch although I've never seen any that skilled. He was THAT good.
This is a PM I sent to somebody a while ago. I describe Stretch's ability to influence people and explain why I've never trusted him. How many of you would have believed it? Be honest with yourselves.
I've edited out certain details.
I've watched Stretch since I got here and I will tell you that I do not trust him. I see him as a charlatan - a fraud, if you will, who has been able to fool a lot of people. He is the most shrewd and calculating person I've ever met online and he has a talent to appear harmless and likeable and he uses his Christian faith to further that talent. He has an almost unbelievable knack for quickly figuring out what people want to hear and then giving it to them. Stretch straddles the fence on almost every issue unless it directly involves his financial interests or reputation. Look up his posts and you'll rarely be able to identify his position in a debate. He plays to all sides and alienates none. He has the ability to disagree with you and agree at the same time. Creating confusion is his MO.
He proved with SF and again with Bio that he is able to easily attract a group of followers that hang on his every word. He is almost a cult leader to those who have fallen under his spell. However, even though he has many people that he is friendly with, he doesn't appear to consider any of them friends.
Controversy follows him wherever he goes. He has been involved with every source that has scammed on Meso since I've been here. either directly or indirectly - from SF shorting customers, to Hercules and now to Bio.
He ended his long-standing feud with Jim just before Bio went public. That truce was not done out of sincerity, but to silence Jim, his biggest critic. He then took shots at GETM while giving every other source a pass. It is my belief he did it to force Jim into defending them so he could label him a rep, thus discrediting any future criticism from Jim. It worked. Stretch all but admitted that himself several months later.
