Would I benefit with testosterone or an oral form? Would I be a candidate for TRT?

Sup.

So my journey dates back a long time, in the black and white photo I was about 21-23 years old and ideally was 185-200 lbs until about the age of 25.

I always played sports well and ate lots of food.
Was a athletic minded individual in school and started weight lifting at age 16 when I was on the varsity team for football every day for a year and a half at 5 to 6:30 am.

Once high school was over I joined my local gyms and gradually started taking things more seriously, to the point where I would be buying "online pills" that would work from 22 to about 24 years old.

Well everything was great and all, I was working hard but since I had gotten to my goal of about 185 the workload made me super hungry, and I went from 185 to about 330 from 25 to about 27 years old. You can see from the pictures.

I've spent the last 3 years coming down in weight from 330 got down to about 187 at the very lowest towards the end of last month, since then have gained about 16 lbs. Sitting at 203 in my most recent photo.

So my goal is to be 178-180 lbs (exact) and have a body fat percentage of 10-20%. Should having lost all that weight make me a candidate to see a doctor for testosterone? Would it help? Would O permanently be able to keep the weight off?

Any knowledge on the matter would be great, esp from experienced individuals.

My diet feels fine,
at times I eat 1800-2700 when I'm cutting.

Maintenance (to feel normal) is about 2500-4500 depending on the exercises done.

(I havent ever needed to
bulk, but 185 to 330 I was eating regularly about 6000-8000 calories to get myself healed up)

I just want to reach my goal, but have been having issues keeping the weight off.

Go get a panel done at your doctor, if you haven’t
I am a firm believer every man should get his testosterone checked, so many go through life living shit because its not pushed enough for it to be a normal checkup, men are just suppose to be tough and go through life

To say if you would benefit from TRT, we would have to know your levels.
If you are low, 100% you would benefit but if you are 700 ish, not really.

If you need mental help, Tirz can change how you view food
It helped me drop from 260 and maintaining 199 currently.

Awesome job so far brother, I am rooting for you and always here to help anyone trying to better themselves
Keep us updated on your journey.

You need your total testosterone tested.

Dont worry about shbg, prolactin or free test thatll just be a waste of money and confuse you.

Wether or not you see a doc depends on where you live

I appreciate the responses. I'll get my testosterome checked out, there is a quest diagnostic nearby and they do exams for 50$ or so. I will comeback once I've done so.

sounds like or looks like?
Well I was trying to be “not an asshole”……
With the massive weight swings, I’d be looking first into that issue. OP stated he has gained 16lbs just since the end of last month. He said a “cut” caloric intake was 1800-2700. Maintenance was 2500-4500. Then 6000-8000 to “heal up”

I’m no expert by any means, but some nutritional understanding seems to be in order first. Plus asking if losing weight would qualify for trt???
That by itself is enough to take pause.

Only the total t test is available for that amount, you need more as others have said, the e2 test should be the sensitive e2 test not the regular one

Go look up the test you want on Marek health. They have a BF sale today for 25% off.
That will save you some and let you check a few more health parameters if you’re so inclined

Or 22% off low prices here (BF sale):

LH+TT+SHBG (Calc FT) will give your eugonadal status.
