The generic vs pharma GH discussion

we know from past history that "at least" @readalot puts his money where his mouth is , unlike @Ghoul who will just chatgpt us to death about the literature pertaining to,,

Half the time the ChatGPT isn't even relevant. But sure provides a good source from which to cherry pick.

Plus, there are people with actual real experience here. That trumps ChatGPT any day imo.

Wouldn't secondary structure be useless without tertiary structure since that's what matters?
Great point! Should have included tertiary structure in the comments as well but this would be first trial and I am unsure the capability of the lab (far vs near UV). Jano offered to reach out to lab for more info.

Background:

Most likely iterative in process as we learn more. The journey is the fun, right?

What? I'm not good for it? :p

I’m also in if Ghoul and Readalot chip in. lol
I am sure readalot would.

Ghoul on the other hand talks about this shit and has not even posted any collected data of his own. Not even igf1 markers to reflect any type of "bio activity" it has on his igf1. (We know igf1 doesn't mean everything)

I have atleast compared igf1 and janos testing on serostim to QSC on paper for my trailer park customers. UGL HGH unfiltered with alot of aggregates causing immunogenicity doesnt seem to cause issues.

A poor IGF1 response doesn't always mean shit GH

BUT, a good IGF1 response is a decent indicator that it's not shit GH

Or conduct a million nerd tests

yes I know IGF1 isn't the only benefit of GH
igf-1 blood test only shows whats in serum which doesn't mean shit for muscle

what matters is the igf-1 in muscle

I'll organize it, will you chip in?
Status?

I was planning on getting some more Serostim so I could run head to head against a "premium" UG GH and a typical UG "generic" GH. The "premium" supposedly tests better against pharma standard with HPLC-MS. I don't have that data and vendor won't share it.

The price Jano quoted me was 400 USD for a pair wise comparison with CD and 600 USD for 3 samples. He stated this was no markup on his part with outside lab. I want to speak with this lab first if we go with CD to confirm near vs far UV and make sure it isn't a mess like the oil based endotoxin analyses.

If someone orders NMR then you are on your own as Jano doesn't have the bandwidth to interpret results and that ain't my thing. Do we have NMR guru here?

Hence CD is probably best incremental test we could pursue IMO. Interpretation is simple if you get the testing conditions right.

Fyi.

Thoughts/feedback?
