Tren . . . the nectar of the gods

So bumping this. There may be a better thread. If there is let me know.

Anyone gone down the rabbit hole of tren color and the oxidation chemistry upon heating tren raws in oil with O2 headspace? @Type-IIx?

The chemistry is pretty straight forward with conjugated C-C double bonds (I will spare the numbering) reacting to form quinones which are known chromophores.

The rub is these benzoquinone tren derivatives are decently studied in cancer research for their ability to increase ROS and speed up cell death. So my hypothesis is that when you run darkly colored tren you are basically giving yourself AAS and chemo all in one. Is this why many have such an issue running "tren"?

Would brewing a clear colorless tren result in better outcomes?

Just an idea. Haven't talked to @janoshik about whether these derivatives are picked up in the HPLC method or their concentrations are so low even in darkly colored vials that it's not affecting HPLC results.

Thanks.

Edit: I see Jano did hit upon it here.

Be careful if you try to brew colorless tren obviously. Anyone tried it? Add some alpha-tocopherol and use N2 headspace in a fume hood? And good raws.

I don't mean to hijack this, but wanted to throw out some speculation. Something that's puzzled me about Tren for a while now is the mechanisms behind Tren cough. The oil embolism "excuse" is ridiculous, in my opinion. I am starting to suspect that there is a correlation between the cough and how it's brewed. I had what I'd assume to be lower quality or poorly brewed Tren Ace from sources not on MESO. I went through approximately 15 vials from the one sources, and maybe 8 from the other over the past few years. I would get that all too well known, pretty horrendous cough at a frequency I'd guess to be at about 20-25% of my injections. I have since switched to using Tren Ace from 2 very respected domestic sources here, and gone through several vials, and dozens of injections, and not had so much as a tickle in my throat. Both previous sources had relatively dark colored Tren, while both sources from MESO have very light, golden colored Tren. I could be wrong, but it seems to me there could be a relationship between the brewing process and Tren cough.

This sounds exceptionally interesting, even though it's more than a bit beyond my current knowledge

Now you got me really spinning my ever decreasing number of brain cells Brother. I will ponder this. Thank you.

I've had a batch of tren sitting in my closet for 6 months. When I first got it, no problems. After trying it again recently, I got some bad sides (sick feeling).
There are no other variables to note in my diet/protocol.
Do you think degradation played a role? Anyone experience this?

The raw trenbolone powder, be it base or any of its 3 esters, is white when freshly produced, any yellow or orange tone is the result of its oxidation, now, what is or what contains said oxidation, (oxidized products, contaminants, derivatives of the hormone itself...) is a mystery at least from my knowledge, what I can assure you is that I have seen white and transparent trenbolone prepared in a vial and it is enough to reheat it a little or let time pass and it will end up acquiring said hue

Here are some more color samples to add to the database. I had a few other brands, but already went through them all, unfortunately. The one I remember was a cloudy and relatively dark Ace, and made me cough quite frequently. The far right example in these pics will never go into my body... well, almost never.

The hypothetical use case would be the following scenario:

We're deep into WW3. China has begun a ground invasion of the United States. They've captured or destroyed all major cities, but some resistance cells still exist in rural areas. I'm in my bunker when I hear over the radio that Chinese forces are heading my way. I check my stock of super solider serums, but I've already gone through everything fighting off the legions of Chinese that have already tried taking our small stronghold. Then, far back on a dusty shelf, I see a putrid orange reflection catch the light being cast by the low wattage bunker lighting. I load up a 10cc syringe with the vials vile contents, and jam it into my glute, pushing the full gram of Tren into myself. "Just in time" I thought, as I hear the familiar call to surrender in a heavy Mandarin accent blast over a bullhorn that's far too close. I grab my Barrett M107A1 CQB as I head for the bunker door, but as I do, the slight tickle I felt in my throat a few seconds ago becomes an overwhelming urge to cough, and suddenly I lose all control of my diaphragm, as I stumble out of the bunker in a spasmatic coughing fit, blinded by tears in my eyes and convulsing uncontrollably as all external senses shut down... nearly all, but enough remain intact to feel the first of dozens of 5.8x42mm rounds as they tear through my body....... On second thought, maybe I should just throw all that garbage Tren away...

ngl i ran quite a few tren cycles (parabolan couple years back, tren ace from opti currently, which is "amber" colored but still feels rly potent) and never experienced tren cough, hopefully i dont jinx it

Damn. Stan’s Tren A GSO is very light yellow. He never made Tren A MCT as far as I know but I’d be interested how his would turn out.

Thanks for sharing. I think we can get that lighter and hopefully understand the chemical impact.

He did have some several months ago, unfortunately I missed out as he sold out and has yet to restock, which is why I picked up the GSO. I'm a big MCT fan, especially in this day and age when gear might sit in storage for years. I, too, am curious as to what it looks like compared to his GSO ace.Screenshot_20250809_165647_Proton Mail.webp

do u run Unique Pharma? if so sick products man!

im no chemist but from what im gathering in this thread the color shouldnt rly be a concern for the final user as long as the jano test on the batch comes out correct, i doubt anyone is storing their vials anywhere near 100 celsius, or am i just stupid and understanding this wrong

I don't know Unique Pharma and I dont source.
That isn't my takeaway from the thread but I hope we get testing to show the effect of color on tren quality and composition.

See the Testing Fund thread.
