subclinical hypothyroidism

Hey all, Looking to start TRT but want to see if i could first find the underlying cause of my low t levels, and cure it instead of masking it with TRT. I'm also thinking of an HPTA restart but then i'm wondering if it will achieve anything since my LH/FSH are at normal levels. Appreciate...
