So I bought a 12v 1a vacuum pupmp, bought an 1a 12v adapter, I soldered the adapter to the pump. All set up. But this filtering proces is SO GOD DAMN SLOW. It's insane. took about 2 hours for 100ml. When i am filtering with syringe filters and a chaulking gun, it goes way faster. Is something wrong ?

I ordered PVDF instead of nylon, the manufacturer told me it was better for my purpose. But ill have to double check because they couldnt deliver because of some problems and sent me twice the amount of a different product because I had to wait so long, ill check

Package says PVDF and it fits a GL45 bottle neck. So I guess around 3-4 cm?

This might be a dumb question but do you have any idea how much vacume its pulling? Do you have a vacume gauge on it? If it's only pulling like 2 psi or something it's going to work like shit.

Go to med lab supply website and buy their pump and their guage setup, comes w extra hoses and stuff. It'll all cost you 150-200 I think.
