Many people on hormone replacement, with or without experience of AAS, have been tried on antidepressaant medication. Sometimes the experience of these medications are worse than the depression that indicates their use. Now there are a few places that can take the guess work out of this process with some bloodwork involving dna.

Welcome to THE future of Anti-Aging Medicine!

I recently spent an afternoon in London listening to Michael Klentze MD PhD, talking about testing of genetic variants in the enzymes which affect the way our bodies function. The gene which codes for a given enzyme may have slight differences in its makeup, and the subsequent gene product may therefore be more, or less, active within the body in which it exists than someone else's. This is part and parcel why men feel different at the same T level, why some men produce more estrogen in response to TRT, etc. etc. etc.

I am looking forward to integrating these diagnostics into my own practice. Sure, we have a long way to go in this area, but it is DEFINITELY where we are heading.

Great find, HeadDoc.
