injection site

I just started with testosterone depot a couple weeks ago. I injected myself several inches above my knee (lower thigh) and now the area is swollen and I can not bend my knee. Also, I've been feeling feverish at night.

Is this due to product or perhaps improper shot?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I got really sore on top of my knee cap and had a hard time bending my knee a few times, it went away for the most part after 2 days. I wasn't as swollen though so you may be dealing with something different.

You missed the site.
You may have hit a nerve, you may have an infection from the look of it and the fever you described.

Only you can decide whether or not it's bad enough to go to the hospital.
I think most guys here would probably tell you to go.

For future reference, put the tips of the fingers of your left hand on your right knee cap and lay your hand down toward your hip.
Now take your right hand at the base of the palm where your hand meets your wrist and rest it on your right hip bone (greater trochanter) with your fingers pointed down towards your other hand.
That empty space on your thigh inbetween your two hands is your injection site.

Yup....sounds like you injected wayyyyyyyyyyy too low

it's red, painful, swollen, and you have a fever?

go see a doctor now please bro. and next time, inject higher. stand up straight and let your arms fall naturally down to your sides. the quad injection site will be right underneath your hands.

This is a good dude!
If he says he is here because he has heard good things, I believe him.
He's never given me a reason not to.

You can inject in the "teardrop" of your quad, but it's painful and iffy.

I am very adamant about quads being my favorite spot, but that spot in particular fucking sucks.

I've done some rough spots and that is up there in my top 3 of shit spots along with traps and calves. Seriously though, fuck calves...

I thing my biceps were the worst. 1cc in each with a 22g 1"

I couldn't even lift my arm or flex for about a week.

Thanks again for all the replies, I really appreciate it.

Day 4 after injection, my knee is starting to feel better, not as swollen and no more fever. I am still wondering if this testosteron depot - Galenika is real or not. All of the pics I've seen show a vial with blue lettering and mine have a label red, white and blue.
