How common do you think 19-20 arms are among lifters. 10%, 20% or what. When I started lifting my arm were just over 16, now they are 18-1/2, I want that 19" so bad but cant seem to get there. I dont want the fat boy arm either, I'm talking about a arm that people see and say, that guy hits the weights. Anyway just curios, any members out there already there or above? O' ya I know my spelling sucks......

If you are looking at the entire weighlifting population, I would say less than 1% have 19"+ arms. Id probably say that less than 10% have arms bigger than 18".

I had 17.5 inch arms for a long time because I never emphasized them. I was a powerlifter so mostly chest tris and legs. But when I stopped neglecting my biceps and treated them as important as chest my arms grew 2 inches. I am almost 20inches , about 19.75 so close.:D

in 12-2004 before i ruptured my triceps the first time i hit 20 1/8 at a body weight of 256 and12%at 6' ,got my arm back to 19 3/4 when i blew the other arm in november 06 now this morning cold after not training tris in 4 months im atr 19 1/8 but im at a much higher bf

I am currently sitting at 19" arms 6'1" 260 at 12.8% bf. One the most overlooked points about arm development is the tricep. It a larger muscle than the bicep and must be pounded for growth. Im finally nearly recoverd from a pec tear Feb 2006 and I know I will be able to get back to closegrip bench and some necessary power movements. I need to see that 20" barrier that has eluded me so far.

I guess it only matters to me, its just something about having big ass arms. I weigh in at 263, i'm 6'1", have naturally wide shoulder and long arms. Not sure what my BF is, but its not bad, I dont have a six pack or anything but I'm not sloppy by no means. I'm not really interested in the six pack thing, as long as I can keep my mid section flat and tight. My personal best on bench is 405 for seven reps, dips with 115lbs strapped on waist chain for four reps. I'm hopping to bust through that 19" barrier in about 10-12 weeks....... HE HEEE HE, O' Ya......, I guess I'll see!
