I had a conversation with Peter md $1100 a year for just Test c , should I start with 125 2x a week? I do a 5 day split p l p upper lower, cardio 6 days a week. Thanks for your help.

Hey there. This is a great place to get suggestions for planning and organizing a male Testosterone supplementation plan, just be prepared for information overload. 250mg/ week (or 125x2) to me is a standard entry point.

in the future you can save some money by not doing SHBG and free T testing and instead get an estradiol sensitive test with your total testosterone.

basically get testosterone cyp, arimidex, a bunch of syringes, blood pressure cuff and spend many hours reading quality information on how hormones work.

Been doing hormone research and have over load! From Peter Attia ,Huberman,Deric,Mark Bell, vigorous Steve,Leo,etc……I put the work in the Gym eat good but the Gym I go to does not have someone there who can guide me on what I need to do,I have 3 kids not having anymore,I know my bp will go up it runs 110/60 rhr45 now I’m good there,my wbc was low ,rbc was on the low end, I already . I just want to be smart and not f up at 47 ,

250mg/week is a pretty generous starting point. There's a decent chance you'd need an Ai with that.
Do you have a target goal in mind? When I was doing just trt 140 mg/week put my total t at 800. So you'd be at the top of the reference range.

Go to a real Doc. Either TRT clinic or Endocrine. See how they want it done for a year, then go from there. If that is not in your budget, start with 150mg a week test, get blood work after 6 weeks to see how you convert estrogen and what your new levels are. Most importantly, see how feel compared to now.

I don’t have a target total T but around 800 I would say.I just want to have more energy recovery libido! More muscle mass,is the main thing

Why would you recommend the test p , over test c ? 10 mg sub Q a day I guess would keep it from spiking and dropping?
Test P just has a lot less esters and doesn’t take forever to adjust if you have issues
You want at least a small daily spike/drop which you’d get with TP

Also, I’d take it IM instead of SQ

250mg test C a week Will likely put you way over 800 total. Everybody is different but starting at 100 - 120 total test C a week injected 2x a week is a conservative choice. This will likely get you up to the range you want but if it doesn't, you just increase the dose based on blood work.

Like others have said, to start out you want to have an AI on hand. If you have high E2 symptoms you can go to the lab and pull blood for E2 at any point for a reasonable price. To check total test wait at least 6 weeks from first injection the go from there

Personally I find test C or test U the way to go. Less injections, more stable blood levels. I don't buy into frequent injections with short esters really being much better. I like test U. Inject every 5 - 10 days depending on how stable you want the levels to be.

For a starting point though I would suggest Test C as it's easier to adjust the dose and see the blood level change in a shorter period of time.

Ok thanks for the info, know that my T was very low from what I’ve seen when you use around 200 a week it looked like it raised your T around 600 points,i know everyone body is different

TRT version. For most men TRT is 50 to 150 mg/week. The 150 is really generous.

For those that want to run higher I get it. I'm done arguing about TRT. Just thought you might find it helpful. No one shows you this when you start TRT. Years of work and argument in those figures. Best wishes.
