5 by 5 weakness

Has mentioned in earlier therad i have had some realy good strentgh gains. But just recently its gone the other way. I got to the deloading phase using the following weights
130kg for 5 sest 5 squat
Bench 90kg 5 sets 5
.
The problem i have had is i dropped the Friday workout and went to 3 sets 3 like suggested. I than fell ill with a cold which made me train ligth for one week and when i went back to 3 sets 3 again my weights dropped .Now I am in my final week of deloading before a two week holdiay and I can only just squat with diffculty 120kg in Squat and 85kg for 3 sets 3. I dont understand whats happened my other lifts are just has good but these two have took a large drop.

You guys got any ideas.
 
unloading?

its possible that the cold just pushed you over the edge at just the wrong time... right at the end of loading. if your not down on everything, if your not losing a bunch of weight, dont worry, your not somehow magically weaker than you were a couple of weeks ago.

but, its probable that the rest of the cycle will have to be altered. why dont you throw a week in that drops the weight on squat and bench considerably, like 100k, and 70k. let yourself rest a bit, then jump back up by 10k a week, eat like crazy, and you might find that if you do this in 4-5 weeks you are hitting PR's again. you ought to be able to hit 140-150 for 3 by 3 on squat i would think.

one thing you should always remember, is dont bash your head against a wall. if you do hit that wall, which you will occasionally, do exactly what you would do in real life if you were trying to break down a wall. dont just stand up against it and pound on it, step back, get another running start, and hit it with some momentum.
 
i have droped the weight a bit but i am on holiday ext week for 2 weeks its my wedding. Going to rest for two weeks than restart the cycle and try and build it up for some more PRs.
