5X5 Loading question

I've been doing the 5x5 for 3 weeks now. My question is can you have different loading parameters for different body parts? For example, I feel I can load my Legs for 4 weeks, but for my bench only 2 or 3 weeks. So can I deload now for benching and continue to load on the squat for another week? I'm not sure if this makes sense to you because I'm still learning how my body reacts to this training stimulus. My legs and back seem to be able to handle the 4 week loading but my chest seems like its getting beat up from the bench and squat workouts. I plan on continuing 1 more week of loading on the squat but starting to deload on the bench today.

Loading is systemic- your whoel body gets "loaded', not just parts. If you are beat up from benching then you probably started too heavy. Just run it through week 4 as written and try your best, then go on to deloading.

5x5

do you see progress on full body, meaning arms, shoulders back etc.? How did you train before? do you think 5x5 works better than what you did before?

I definately notice a big difference in the size and shape of my legs. My back is getting stronger too. For me when I train my squat my bench seems to take a back seat. I'd say that I definately have more muscle endurance and have developed strength to in the squat and back. I normally trained with a modified Westside approach using special exercises and doing alot of triples and singles during my workouts. The 5x5 was definately a little humbling because I had to drop the weights, my muscles just became too fatigued. The weights are starting to go up and I'm looking for some new PR's and size gains. As far as arms growing, I haven't noticed, they are about the same. The legs have changed the most, and in a short time.
