I can't figure out what was the purpose cause you would think he would know by not doing a 500 pound bench that 700+ wasn't going to happen

I think this video inspired me to go for the record this week. I've done a bunch of weight before. Not sure on exact numbers or anything. There was a bunch of plates on each side.
