8 sets for triceps

Do you guys think 8 sets for triceps is to much? Today i did this

(I do 1 bodypart a day)

Close grip bench 3 sets 8-3-2
Skull crushers 3 sets of 10
Kick backs 2 sets 8-6

Too much or no? I figure since the tricep is a decent size muscle it deserves to be trained more then the biceps. I only do 6 sets for biceps.

I usually dont count the sets, i set to failure.. I sometimes do up to 8 sets an exercise, its all personal preference. You know your body better than anyone else, and youll know when youve done enough.

i actually do 18-20 sets on larger muscles ( chest, tris, back, legs) and 16 sets for smaller muscles(bis, shoulders etc.) i do the least on shoulders. they are used in a lot of differents workouts throughout the week. now hence i eat like a mad hatter and train each muscle once a week.

IT all depends on yout diet and length of time you have to recover..." theres no such thing as overtrain, just under eatring" unless your a retard and work the same muscle every single day..

I dont stick to scheduled sets either, the amount of sets I get depends on how quick or not i reach failure then that bodyparts trained for the day.

This is not too much bro.I hit tris on bench day, after all bench/chest work is done I do 3-4 sets tri push downs, lying db tri extensions3-4 sets, over head tri rope work 3-4 sets.[}:)]

I started doing my tris on back day and bis on chest day, just 3 sets after my workout, really making everything work better. I also have an arm day but this is just to keep everything nice and lubed up.

Before I started taking AAS as a drug free competitive athlete I found that it took me at least 9 set's but not more then 11 to produce drastic growth in my triceps. I prefered to focus in skull crushers done as heavy as possable as in 3-6 reps and push downs done with higher reps int he 8-12 range. I found that takeing long rest on the heavy sets and short rests under 60 seconds for the higher reps would produce killer combo of results.

When I am on gear I typical can double my volume and I take dosages about 1/3-1/2 what is typical for most guys on this forum. I use enough juice to get the job down and not any extra. I find that going with more just cost's me more on cycle and does not produce any better results for me. I seldom do more then 2 hard cycles a year and since I am on TRT any ways I usualy taper back down after each hard cycle to the upper portion of normal for a man with reguards to my test levels and that seems to work well for me!
