A good set up

Wondering what a good set up is for working my upper body to its maximum potiential and still giving it time to rest. Iv been doing Monday, Wendsday, Friday for upper body And Tuesday , Thursday lower body. Suppliments i been taking like leukir gakic and no2 say different things on recovery time but how true is it really? Any tips would be appreciated thx.
 
The best advice I can offer someone your age is that you be very careful not to overtrain. When I was in high school, enthusiasm and desire got the best of me and I was working my body parts 3-4 times per week and wondering why I wasn't growing. I would recommend 3-4 movements per body part no more than once a week, with abs and calves being an exception. Stick with basic, compund movements like bench press, military press, squats, dead lifts. Focus equally on eating and sleep, they are just as important.
